Kylo remembers Rey

The Secret

While flying throughout the galaxy I was beginning to feel nervous. I didn't know if my mother would accept me back, or forgive me for killing my father. I also had a fear that she wouldn't help me find where Rey had ventured off too.
Poe didn't talk to me the whole way there.
I did hear him conversing on a radio monitor with somebody but I could barely hear them.
I didn't want to read his mind either because he would know.
As we flew down into the main part of the rebel alliance there was a crowd of people around the landing pad. Their eyes were fixed on me.
The x wing set down with a thud and the hatch opened up and Poe climbed out.
I followed him and hobbled out onto the ground. BB-8 rolled over my foot which was on purpose.
As I was distracted 5 men tackled me to the ground, I was handcuffed with a rope that really hurt your wrists and a black sack was put over my head.
I didn't know what was going on.
I could have easily gotten out of it but Poe still had my lightsaber.
As I was being dragged by people I didn't know I got pushed into a chair.
Poe told me to hang on for a few second and he will be back to explain.
When Poe came back in he pulled the bag off of my head and pulled a chair next to me but stood behind it. The room was made out of solid steel and looked like a holding cell for prisoners.
"Sorry just a protocol we had to take, we had to make sure nobody else saw you, he said."
"Um, what about all of the people standing around the ship, I said."
Oh those people are fine they work for the alliance, he said with a grin.
"Just wait here for a few more minutes your mother is on her way, he said."
While sitting there I fiddled with the rope and untied it from my hands.
I guess the force did work on string.
The door then swung open.
I saw my mother standing there looking at me.
I didn't know whether to speak first or let her speak first so I just sat there.
"I see you've gotten out of that rope, she said."
"Yeah I'm sorry I was just fooling around with it and it kind of broke."
Before I could get out the last words the door slammed shut and she sat down across from me.
"So mom how's it been, I said."
"It's been going great ever since we destroyed your first order base, she said."

Wow that was shocking I didn't expect that to come out of her mouth.
It made me feel anger.

"Im not apart of that anymore."
"I've realized what I have done and who I've turned to were the wrong choices and the only person I could come back to was you, I said."

"Son you could have always came back to me but how can I know to trust you now, she said."

"Poe took my lightsaber didn't he, I said."

She looked at me again and I was getting a little creeped out because she was staring more than she was speaking.

"How did you get that scar, she said."

"Mom did you ever meet a girl named Rey, I said."

"Yes she was with your father before he... And then she trailed off.

"Before I killed him, I said."

"Why do you ask, she said sternly"

"I'm looking for her, you may or probably not know she was my partner when I was in Jedi training with Luke, I said."

Did she give you that scar?

"Yeah, I can't blame her I was trying to hurt her too, I said.
I also don't know where she is now I was tracking her but she just disappeared"

"Do you love her Ben, my mother said while smiling"

I thought about it for a second.

"I just care for her a lot, I said"

She rolled her eyes.

"If I know one thing I know when my own son is lying, she said."

Maybe I do I just don't know yet.

"Would you help me find her, I said."

I can try but I'm not promising anything we are very private here and you can't step out of these walls. You have a high price on your head if Snoke was to find you, she said.

"Okay anything will help thank you, I said."

"Also before she left she was going back to find Luke, she said."

"Is that the last thing you heard about her, I said."

"Yes"

After that she told me to follow her down the hall as we walked I could tell my mom was much older than I had remembered her.
It made me sad. I had missed so much while working for Snoke.
As I walked into the control room with her she handed me my lightsaber back.

"Here in case anything happens, she said."

"Mom you don't have to give me it back I know you still don't trust me, I said."

"If I didn't I wouldn't have offered it back to you now take it."

I didn't argue and I put it in my holder.

I was too busy talking to my mom that I didn't realize everybody in the room was staring at me.
They all looked petrified at the sight of me.
They were whispering while one of them asked my mother how they could trust me.
Then a couple more spoke up to asking the same question.

"Listen I know he has screwed up and has made horrible decisions but he is my son, she said."

Poe then spoke up saying that he trusted me too.
"Thanks man, I said."
"No problem bro"
Poe was really a cool guy.

I told them all that I was not that merciless killer anymore. That I wanted to be good and destroy Snoke before he destroyed the entire galaxy.

They all nodded and continued their work.

Poe came up to me after that and said I should be a little worried.
I asked him why.
He then said Finn was paralyzed from the waist down because of how hard I had hurt him 5 months ago.
I asked him he thought Finn would trust me now that I have turned to the light side.
Poe said there was no chance in hell Finn would ever forgive me.

Where is Finn, Poe?

"I don't think that's a good idea, he said."

I knew it wasn't but I had to see him.
