We had to wait for a few minutes to escape. Giovanni grabbed the other set of keys from the lifeless body and unlocked the doors to the other cells that housed other Deamons and Demons. We all scrambled out of the cells whooping and shouting with joy. Even Giovanni was screaming with joy. It has been years since he has seen the night sky or the blue morning sky. For me it had only been four or five months. I can't really remember. It's not like I have a way to know how many months I was in there for.

I couldn't believe that I was finally outside. I took a big whiff of

the fresh, crisp air. I held it in for a long time until I had to breath again. I saw Giovanni sitting next to a pillar but it looked like he was crying. I went over to him and looked at him.

"Giovanni? Are you alright my friend?"

He looked at me and gave me a soft yet caring smile and I knew right then and there he was going to be okay. He motioned me to sit down next to him and I did so.

"I'm alright Marcus. It has just been so long since I've seen the sky. Smelled the crisp, cool air that I can finally fill my lungs with. Everything is so magical on the outside. I never thought I'd see it again."

I looked at him and smiled softly and nodded. I know what he meant. It has been months since I've seen the sky. I almost forgot what it looked liked. I took another big whiff of the air but this time I smelt something that made me want to lunge out and find it. Giovanni smelt it too and he quickly looked at me. Right now I was growling for the scent I smelled. It was the scent of blood. I stood up and I heard the voice inside my head again. I've named him Sucram but I don't know why I named him.

"Go for it Marcus. Feed us and make us stronger. I know that you want to so do it. Do it boy!"

I quickly dashed to the scent of the blood I heard Giovanni yell for me to stop. I was so hungry for that blood I couldn't control myself even though I told myself that I wouldn't drink it. But this time, this time I wanted it bad. I heard the footsteps of Giovanni trying to catch up to me but he couldn't. I was always a fast runner. I could outrun anyone in my family and even my friends. But Giovanni was actually catching up to me quickly. This was going to be a fun chase. What am I saying! This isn't a fun thing to do. This wasn't me. No not at all. I can't stop now but I want that blood and I want it now!
