I had awoken on the floor. The scent of blood could be smelt in the room. I slowly got up and looked around and that's when I gagged. I saw Ramsa on the floor. I slowly crawled over to him and shuttered at the sight. I saw that he had a stab wound around his heart. I looked at my hands and saw that I had blood on them. My eyes got wide and I started to scream. I don't know why I screamed. Maybe it was because I had just killed again. I heard rushing footsteps coming from the hallway and once they were right outside the door there was a loud banging coming from the door. Then there was a voice.
"Your Excellency! Are you okay? We heard a scream coming from your room." I looked around and saw the pope look at me and then he put a finger to his lips then spoke.
"Yes I'm okay my child. There is no need to worry." The guard responded and then walked away. I could tell that there were eyes looking at me. I was afraid to look because I was afraid that I was going to be scolded for what I did. Then I felt a hand placed on my back. I looked up and saw the pope right in front of me.
"My son, what you have done is a terrible sin. But I shall forgive you and your friends for what they have done tonight. And I believe that I should be fairer with everyone. You friend over there is right. I have been favoring the vampires and not the demons. I knew about them when I was only a lad. Now I implore you all to leave before there is any more trouble that can be caused."
I looked at him and nodded but then I thought about what would we do about Ramsa. I looked over at him and saw that he was over Giovanni's shoulder. I guess that we would have to carry him so it can't be helped. I slowly got up from the ground and walked over to Giovanni. I couldn't find the other two people that were with us so I'm guessing that they already took off. I turned to the pope and thanked him and he nodded at me. Once that was over Giovanni and I darted out of the building. It took a while but we all managed to escape without alerting the guards. As soon as we were out of the popes building the sun started to come up. A new day has come and what was to come of that day? Well, not even I know what to expect.
