I couldn't fall back asleep. Not after the dream I had. I stayed up and watched the night sky turn to a bright new day and as the sun slowly started to rise the dark mist in the air cleared and I could see the glistening of the sun on the deep blue ocean. I smiled and opened the window to take in the fresh air of the new day. I heard shuffling and turned around and saw Giovanni walking out of his room scratching his head while yawning. He saw me and waved a sleepy wave at me. I waved back at him.

"Morning Giovanni."

He looked at me for a second.

""Did you stay awake all night Marcus?"

I nodded at him and he gave of a soft sigh that I heard even from across the room.

"You should really get some sleep."

I shook my head. I couldn't sleep. Not after the dream I had last night.

"I'm rested enough."

He looked at me and yawned but nodded at me. I looked outside of the window again and took in more of the fresh air that hovered around the house which calmed me down. So when I finally was calm enough I stood up and walked outside of the house closing the door behind me. I looked around and saw that everyone was already out and about doing his or her work. I smiled at the sight and sat down at the steps watching them all. All of a sudden the door opened and out came Giovanni with a bag over his shoulder. He looked down at me and smiled softly.

"I'm going out for a while Marcus. I need you to watch the area while I'm gone. If there is a problem and you should need any protection there is a sword hanging above the door. Oh and before I forget. You can go walking around but don't venture off to far from the house."

I nodded at him and then he left thehouse.
