A Long Lost Friend / Riker Fanfic

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off at 6:30am. Ugh I don't want to get up, I wasn't ready for today, hell I wouldn't be ready for this day if it was a 1,000 years from now. I finally get up and get in the shower. I just stood in there, thinking. I wanted time to stand still, but obviously that isn't going to happen. As I stood there with the water beating down my back I hear my mom yell.

"Kayla! Hurry the hell up! It's already 7:20, you've been in there almost an hour!"

"Okay mom"

I get out of the shower and go get ready. I put on some eyeliner and threw on a pair of baggy white sweat pants and a blue baggy t-shirt. I come down stairs only to hear my mom say

"What do you think you're wearing? Cause' I know it certainly isn't that."

I just stopped and stared at her. Finally I said

"mom, I don't care what I look like, neither do they."

"Kayla I want you to look presentable. You may not like them anymore but I still talk to Mark and Stormie. They're my really good friends."

"Yeah, YOUR really good friends. Not mine." She just looked at me for a moment.

"Kayla, I don't know why you don't like them anymore.." I cut her off

"NOT THEM.. RIKER... JUST RIKER.."

I raised my voice knowing I shouldn't have. My mom sighed.

"Okay you don't like Riker. But you could do this for me. I know your 19 but it's still my house which means my rules."

I just rolled my eyes and went back upstairs and changed into a fighting blue shirt with black ripped up skinnies. It was now 8:30. Okay so I got half hour before the get here, I thought. Ugh life freaking blows! I would rather be thrown into a hole then to see him. Oh well nothing else I can do I guess. I just laid on my bed staring at the ceiling. The next thing I know, my mom yells up the stairs.

"Kayla they're here! Hurry up and get down here." Ugh well here starts the worst 2 weeks of my life.
