Kayla's POV

I feel Riker rubbing my leg.

"hey baby wake up. I'm back with your food."

"Smells super good! What is it?"

"Well, I know you said you didn't like the food they had, so I had them go out and get your favorite breakfast: chocolate chip waffles, sausage, and biscuit and gravy." He says while handing me the plate.

"Gosh, you're the best. You know that."

"Oh stop it." He says very flirtatiously.

I smile and start eating my food. He just kind of kept quiet the whole time. After I finished I looked at him. He looked at me kind of worried.

"What's wrong babe?"

"Nothing, everything's fine." He lied.

"Riker..... tell me." I said firmly so he knew I wasn't going to let it go.

"Fine... they didn't get your mom. She's still out there. We're going to have to stay here way longer than we thought. At least until they get her into custody. Also, the baby doctor called.." 

He stopped and starred at the floor.

"RIKER! what did the baby doctor say!"

"Um.... after reviewing all the test..... he says if you continue to carry this baby one of you isn't going to make it. There's a 89% chance that neither of you will..." he started tearing up.

"What... h-how? Why?" I started panicking.

"Baby, I don't know. He's coming by in a few to talk to us in person."

"Riker no. NO! I can't loose this baby not again.." oh no.

"Wait, what do you mean again...." he looked at me with rage.

"Riker, there's something I haven't told you...."

"What is it." He said in a firm voice. You could hear the anger in his voice.

"Riker, when we had sex... when we lost our virginity..... I...... I got pregnant. I carried the baby to 4 months and lost it. I never told you because I was scared." He just sat there for a minute

"KAYLA PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE KIDDING! YOU WAS PREGNANT AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME!!! HOW COULD YOU! I THINK I HAD THE RIGHT TO KNOW SINCE THAT WAS MY BABY! WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU NOT TOLD ME!" yeah he's furious.

"Riker please... don't yell at me. Please, it was a long time ago. I didn't tell you cause I didn't know how, and with everything going on with us, I couldn't tell you! Please don't be upset with me Riker, please."

"I just can't believe you. I'm out of here."

"Riker please don't go please."

"Just, leave me alone."

There I was sitting in my room sobbing. What the hell, why is this happening. Then the doctor knocks.

"Come in!"

"Hey Mrs. Lynch, where's Mr. Lynch?" Mrs. Lynch seriously?

"He left. He's not going to be here."

"Alright well, here's the deal. You need to get an abortion. There's a 0.01% chance you'll carry this baby to full term. If you were to happen to carry this baby, one of you, probably both of you wouldn't live."

Why is he telling me this. Gosh, I can't do this.

"So what's your decision? But we also need the father to give consent about the abortion."

"STOP! JUST STOP!" I screamed running out of the room.

Oh my god, no. Just fucking no! As I ran down the hall I stumble upon Riker.

"Riker please talk to me. Please!"

"There's nothing to talk about, I want you to get the abortion. Then we can go our separate ways. I can't keep dealing with you anymore, I'm done and I don't want any connects to you what so ever." He kept starring out the window, not once did he look at me.

I just took off running. Why is this happening, not to me. Not, just why is my life so screwed up. I've lost everything now, the man I love and the baby. I just don't know. I gather myself before going back into, my room. The doctor was still sitting there. Alright lets do this.

After 5 minutes of arranging the rides we left for the hospital. I held my stomach talking to the baby.

"I'm so sorry, I love you so much. But I can't keep you. I wish you knew what I meant. I'm sorry baby, gosh I love you." We arrive to the hospital.

"You ready?"

"Whatever" I say as I walk into the doors.

We go up and I get in the position for the abortion. The doctor comes in.

"Hi I'm."

"I don't want to talk, just get this over with." He nods.

He gets his equipment and gets ready to" do it"

"STOP STOP STOP" I scream but he keep working.

"PLEASE STOP! RIKER PLEASE HELP ME, DON'T LEAVE ME COME BACK PLEASE RIKER! HELP ME!" my screams done no good, then I hear.

"KAYLA! KAYLA!" It was Riker.

"RIKER HELP ME! WHERE ARE YOU!" I start going frantic.

I get pulled up, my eyes fly open and I realize I'm in Riker's arms.

"Oh my god Kayla are you okay? What the hell! You had me worried to death!" He screamed.

"Riker what are you talking about? What's going on? Wait, we're together?" He stares at me hard.

"I'm getting the detective to call a doctor." He goes to stand up but I pull him back down.

"Nnnnnooooooo. I'm sorry, was I dreaming?"

"Yes you were screaming for me. That's why I'm so worried."

"Sorry, that dream. It was just so vivid. I thought it was real, that's why I was confused. Baby I'm fine. I was just confused, I promise" he gives me a hard passionate kiss.

"Thank God! You had me very worried. What was you dreaming about baby?" He said looking into my eyes.
