Look At Us Now

Riker's POV 

I just stood there shaking my head starring down at her. She refused to look me in the eye.

"Kayla, please don't do this to me. Please." I let out with a shaky voice.

"Riker..... I.... it's for the best and you know it is. We should have never done this. Never should of started this again. I love you so much, but I'm not with your career." She still wouldn't look at me.

"BULL SHIT! You know that's a lie. I would never take back these past few days with you. Only thing I wish is that I could take back these past years. So that nothing has ever came between us. So that we wouldn't be where we are now, in this stupid ass predicament. I love you l, I love you more than life it's self. Baby, please don't do this to me. I can't even stand the thought of losing you again. Please." I was crying my eyes out now.

"I... I just don't know. Riker ever since we've gotten back together it has been nothing but hell. If this is what it's like now, only after a few days, then what's it going to be like in a month? If we stay together you know you're going to lose your job. You will lose everything you have worked for over these past years. I can't let you do that Riker. I love you way to much to let you throw away something you have worked so hard for. I'm sorry Riker I love you, I always have and I always will." She gave me a kiss, hugged me, then she left.

This can't be happening, not again, I just can't lose her again. Damn it, I know what I have to do but it's not going to be easy for the guys and Rydel. I sit down in the hallway for about an hour, thinking about how to do this. By now I'm getting filled with rage the more I think about it.

I get up and heads towards the meeting room. I walk in and everyone is sitting there laughing and talking like nothing has ever happened. That pissed me off even more.

"I'M DONE!" I shout.

"Woah, woah, woah. What do you mean your done? You're in a contract, you can't just quit. Besides, Kayla came in here and told us she broke up with you so that you could keep what you love." Now I'm furious.

"YOU LISTEN HERE! I AM DONE! CONTRACT OR NO CONTRACT! I QUIT!! YOU CAUSED ME TO LOSE THE GIRL I LOVE, THEN YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL ME I CAN'T QUIT! YES I LOVE THIS BAND AND MY FAMILY. BUT IF I CAN'T HAVE KAYLA THERE IS NOTHING FOR ME! ME AND HER ARE A PACKAGE DEAL! YOU DON'T LIKE IT? GO SHOVE A DICK UP YOUR ASS AND LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!" I finally finished my rant.

"Dad, where is Kayla?" I tried to ask calmly.

"She's on a plane back to Colorado" I heard Ryland say. No, just no I have to get her.

"Guys, I'm going to get her with or without your support." I turn to leave out of the room then I hear his voice.

"You walk out that door and you will regret it." I had enough I turn around and attack him. I push him onto the ground and just as I was about to hit him I stopped. I can't get Kayla if I am in jail. 

I get off him and walk out the door.
