Welcome To Parenthood

Riker's POV

I decided to get up and get him, Kayla needs more rest than I do. I get up and go into Zeke's room, I pick him up and cradles him.

"Pewww. Boy you need your diaper changed"

I laid him down and changed his diaper, but he kept crying. Damn it, um, oh FOOD!!!!! I yelled inside my head. I lay him down in his crib and go make a bottle. I could here him crying cause I left his door open.

"Hold on baby, daddy's coming" I say more to myself than to him.

I walk in there and start feeding him, the I hear a whimper coming from Zander's room. Oh man, I hurried and propped the bottle up and went to him. As soon as I picked him up I heard Zabrina and Zyana starting to cry. I need help.

Here came Kayla out of our room with a smile on my face.

"Hey baby. Why didn't you wake me up?" she kissed me on the cheek while taking Zander.

"Well I know you needed more rest then me. So I let you sleep, I just didn't count on all of them waking up at once"

"Well that's nice babe. But this is going to take both of us"

I just smiled back and we continued to take care of our kids. After about two and a half hours we get them taken care of and put back to sleep. We both collapsed on the bed. It was 3:30 in the morning, we both jut passed out.

2 Hours Later

Kayla's POV

I hear crying coming from all four baby monitors. I check the time and it is... 5 AM!?! Oh my gosh, my kids are going to kill me, I thought getting up from bed.

"Riker. Come on." I shook him up.

"no cimg." he said staggering out of bed.

We get to their rooms a half asleep trying to change their diapers. They just would not stop crying.

"Please babies go to sleep!" I said kind of loudly.

"Are they hungry?" Riker said holding Zander and Zeke.

"They shouldn't be, they just ate a few hours ago."

"Well let's try I mean, I don't know."

We lay the babies down and go get bottles. We get back and start feeding them, what do ya know? They were hungry.

After a painstaking long night we got to bed only to be woken up again at 11.

"Riker, I'm so tired. I need sleep." I say having my head laying on my hand

"I know babe. But we have to get used to this." he said rubbing my shoulder.

Then their was a knock at the door. I hurry and jump up trying not to let the babies get woken up. We just got them back to sleep.

"Hey Stormie. Please don't knock, we just got the babies back to sleep." I say closing the door behind her.

"Sorry sweetie, I just figured you all would want some breakfast."

"I would love some. Well if I even have the energy to eat" I plop down on the couch.

"Rough night huh?"

"You're telling me. I don't know how this is going to work mom." Riker said with his head on my shoulder.

"Well I'll bring you all over some food. You need it too keep up your energy. I'll be back"
