Nova Part 2

As we pull into the bus parking lot I pull my book bag up onto my shoulder and get ready to get off the bus. The bus stops and we all start to walk into the worst place... school. I dread waking up in the mornings and coming here. I mean I dread waking up anyway but it's even worse when I go to school. I hate school with a passion, yet I drag myself here Monday – Friday. It's better than being at my house though. My parents work late and they are never home but if they are, more than likely they are drunk or high, sometimes on the really rough days for them, they are both. I wouldn't be surprised if I got a call soon saying that my parents were found on the side of the road dead. I mean don't get me wrong I'll be sad but, I'll get over it. I start walking down the hallway and I go to my locker. I get to my locker, unlock it, open it and grab my binders for first and second period. Then I start walking to my first period class. My first class is Honors Literature. I am the first one in the room as usual so I sit in my normal seat in the back of the class. I grab my book and start reading. People slowly start to pile in. Then Scarlet Serenity, the most popular girl in school, walks in and she makes her way toward her favorite victim. "Hey slut bag!" She screams across the room. I know she's talking about me. It's not that hard to figure out. I've been called slut bag all year. I continue to sit there as she yells more profanity. "Hey, Scarlet!" It was Eli Walker, the most popular guy in school. He walks over to my desk and grabs my book. Then, he places his hand over my boob and tightens his grip. He starts to kiss my neck and then he whispers in my ear " Come on you little slut." I push him off me and I storm out of the classroom. All the thoughts fill my head. I keep telling myself tonight is the night I'm killing myself. I turn the corner and I'm looking at the floor to hide the tears streaming down my face. Then I run into him...
