Barry and Nova

Nova Part 40

I wake up and I'm back in the guest room. I crawl out of the bed and go to the bathroom. It's still sort of early it's 8 and Barry's mom left a note on the counter. "Good morning sweetie. Your brother had a soccer game and your sister has to get her hair cut and I have to get mine coloured. I'll be back later today after I run errands. When you wake up Nova and you can take the other car and go hang out. Be safe. Love you, Mom". I left the note on the counter, I wish my mom was as sweet and loving as Barry's. Mine laughs when I fall and kicks me. She throws liquor bottles at me telling me to "get me another". I shake my head getting images of my mother out. I walk to the fridge and grab bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuit mix, pancake mix, fruits, whipped cream, and syrup. I put them all on their beautiful island. Barry's whole house is beautiful and big. I love his house. I love his family. I wish I could live here and be with him. My parents are horrible and are hateful and don't give two shits about me. I begin to make breakfast. I'm frying the bacon and sausage when I feel Barry wrap his arms around my torso then he pulls me close. "Good morning" he says and kisses my check. I smile. "Good morning". "This looks and smells amazing Nova." He says. "Thanks." I say with a smile. After everything finished cooking we eat and then he washes the dishes while I go shower. After I get out and am getting dressed in my clothes from yesterday. Barry's mom left a nightgown for me to wear last night to sleep in on my bed and she washes and dried my clothes so I could wear them today. Barry walks in and says I can use my mom's blow drier and whatever else I needed to get ready then he begins his shower. I get a text from my mom after my hair is dry. It's about 10:30 which is super early for my mom to be awake. It reads "Nova you little whore stop fucking your little girlfriends and get your ass home. You have 30 minutes or you are kicked out and you are never leaving again. You know what screw the 30 minutes you're kicked out. Have fun on the streets. Get your shit and get the hell out of my fucking house."
