Barry and Nova

Barry pt.7

Nova had just texted me back "Maybe it is. You kinda helped it though.", I loved that she replied the way she did because it made me feel like I had actually done something good for her. I responded with "Thanks but I didn't do much." which made me seem like I wanted attention but somehow I knew she wouldn't take it that way. I hit the send button right as the bell for 4th period to end rang, and I went to lunch. I found out I have lunch with Nova, how did I never notice I had lunch with her. She was in front of me in the line but I weaved my way around people without them noticing until I got beside her. "Hey Nova." she jumped a little bit "Oh. Hey Barry. I didn't know we had lunch together." "Neither did I." we both laughed. We stood in line for about another 2 minutes until we got our food then we sat down at a table. Some of my friends cam over and asked why I wasn't sitting with them and I told them "I won't be able to sit with you guys for a couple of weeks, something has come up." they walked saying stupid remarks like "Oh Barry's got himself a girlfriend." and "Don't let us get in the way of your romance Barry." I hated when they made such stupid remarks like that. It didn't make it any better that the girl I liked was sitting right beside me and that I felt my face getting redder and redder by the second but when I looked over her face was red too.
