I told Nova to giver dressed that I had a surprise for her. While she was in the shower I called the restaurant I was taking her too to get a reservation "Hello? I would like to make a reservation for two at 6 please. Thank you. And can you make a banner that says "Will you marry me Nova?" And put it up when I give someone a signal?" They said they could so I said thank you and hung up. So I told Nova I was running to the store and I would be right back and she said okay and did her makeup and everything while I was gone, at least that's what I would imagine she was going to do. I drove to my moms work and told her what my plan was and she said she was really happy for us and then told me to follow her. She took me to her little workplace and pulled a ring out from a cabinet and Said "this was your the ring your grandfather gave your grandmother when they got engaged. Here it's yours now." And I hugged her tightly and said thank you and went back home. When I got home Nova had already done her makeup and got dressed. I kissed her and told her she looked beautiful and then took a shower and hit dressed, placed the ring in my pocket, and headed out to the restaurant. When we got there they already had a table waiting for us. After we ordered and were eating out food I looked at a waiter that had been watching us, I guess to wait for the signal, and gave home a thumbs up. He gave one back and headed to the back of the restaurant and I distracted Nova do she wouldn't turn around and see the board they carried in. After they got it inside I told Nova "surprise time. Get up and close your eyes." She looked confused but said okay and did it, I turned her around and got on my one knee and popped the ring out and he started laughing and said "Barry? What are you doing?" And I told her she would see. "Hey Nova, open your eyes." As she opened her eyes a huge smile came across her face and she started crying "Barry. Yes. Yes yes yes yes. I will marry you." She couldn't hold back all the tears. I stood up and picked her up and hugged and kissed her; after I say her down I grabbed her hand and slowly put the ring on her finger as se began to cry more. I told her how I really went and talked to my mom and how the ring was my grandmothers; and after that we went home.
