Chapter 6:

I open my eyes slowly and lift my head. Looking around my surroundings I realize this isn't my room! I panic, my breathing goes ragged.

'Breath,' my wolf says. I smell the air knowing this smell from somewhere.

A pinelike smell I recall smelling not too long ago.

Then it hits me like a ton of bricks.

Me-, da-damen, h-he rejected me!

What happened after that I'm not so sure. All I know is I need to get home and away from wherever I am. I slowly get out of the bed, I little too fast, causing me to fall to the floor.

I look to my left to see a digital clock that reads: 5:30 pm.

Jesus Christ how long was I knocked out for? I see a note right beside the clock and pick it up. It was written with a green crayon, I chuckle and roll my eyes. The note reads:

Listen Dani, you passed out after I rejected you. I dint know what happened I guess the process got to you and, well I dont know.. I didn't know what to do, or when you were gonna wake up so I brought you to my place since I don't know where you live.

Once you read this go home. I am not linger my mate as you are mine. I never liked or wanted you as my mate-'

I dont even finish the letter and run out of the room tears rushing down my face. Surprisingly no one is home even at this hour, and I am pretty glad because it would be pretty awkward if I bumped into alpha Carter.

I find my way to the door and rush out slamming the door behind me.

'Where are we anyways,' my wolf asks.

"I don't know," I reply. She sighs heavily and quiets down.

I walk down the empty streets hoping to find my way home.

Before I make my way down many streets losing myself even more. I don't know what I was thinking when I went into the woods, guessing it was going to calm me down.

I guess I could head back to mat- I mean Damens house, but he wouldn't want ne there, besides even if I did I wouldnt know where to go to head back to his house.

Breathing a deep, heavy, long frustrating sigh escape my chapped lips.

Before I knew it I was leading myself deeper and deeper into the woods. My legs carrying me without my brain given a chance to proves where we were going.

I collapse near a old worn down tree with a sob.

Tears rushing down my face allowing the events going through my mind.

Suddenly i hear a snap of some twigs, and low menacing growls.

"Who-Who's there?," I cry out more terrified than a fish at an all you can eat shark buffet.

More growls fill the dark open air.

My wolf growls, even though there is nothing she can do since I'm still not able to shift into my wolf yet.

Out of the shadows step five menacing, vicious looking wolfs.

even though it is dark with my enhanced wolf vision I'm able to spot a gray, black, two browns, and one light coppery brown wolfs.

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON OUR LAND," the black one snaps as he pounces on me.

I let out a startled yelp escape my lips,"I-I-I was trying t-to find my way h-home and got lost," I state back terrified.

They all stare at me as the grey wolf seems to zone out then back in, whispering to the black wolf.

"Our Alpha will be here soon to take care of YOU," the black one snarls.

My wolf whimpers, as I shed a single tear down my cheek.

"Oh and comes him now," the black wolf smirks evilly at me.
