Chapter 19:
 dani's Pov:

I run out of the office before these tears that suddenly fill my vision fall in front of him. I knew I shouldn't have gotten comfy around him. I knew I should've never let him in.

'IM SO STUPID!' I always do this to myself. I let people in, and in the end i end up getting hurt.

I run to my room and let my tears stream down my face.

My heart is broken in two for the second time by my mate.

'You shouldn't cry over him,' I think to myself. I wipe my eyes furiously but they wont stop falling.

Im so pathetic.

Suddenly I become angry. I go through my drawers im leaving.

I go through my drawers grabbing all the clothing items I possess, not leaving a thing behind.

As much as it hurts to leave, he also hurt, and 10x worse. My heart couldn't take anymore.

With one last glance around the room I jump through my window, since I don't want to have anyone realize I left by walking out the front door.

I grab my bad of items, A tear goes down my cheek  as I run off into the woods.

3 hrs later....

I get a little tired so I decide to take a break at a pond. I strip of my clothes, but not before looking around me making sure no one is there. After reassuring there is not a single living being around me I strip and hop into the water. Its soothing on my sweaty aching bones.

Perfect.

Suddenly there's a rustle in the bushes.

"Who's there," I call out. I sink lower into the water, awaiting my intruder, suddenly a little squirrel comes out of the bush.

I let out a laugh and take a deep breath, "calm down Dani," I reassure myself," It's just a squirrel."

I relax back down into the water, but not soon later there is another rustle. Thinking its just another animal I try and ignore it. But it sounds bigger, afraid and nothing to protect myself since I've never been able to shift yet, I grab a big stone near my shoulder.

Then out of the bushes, comes Darius. I heave a sigh of relief as I throw the rock.

"Whoa you scared me I thought you were someone else," I feel my heart beat ring in my ears.

He comes closer not saying a word, just a menacing look in his eyes.

"What? If Demetrius sent you out here to retrieve me im not coming ba-" before I can finish he interrupts me.

"I'm not here to retrieve you," he says simply looking around his dark hair falling into his mesmerizing and creepy eyes.

"Then what are you doing he-" before I can finish I'm pushed under the water. I scratch at his hands as I try to come back up, but its no use, he's a werewolf and I haven't even had my first shift yet.

'Why does everyone hate me? This is the end? Maybe its for the best?'

I stop struggling as I think about it. 

'maybe it is the best thing to do.'

little specks fill my vision and my oxygen level lowers dangerously low. But before I can fully pass out Darius pulls me back up, sticking a needle in my arm with green liquid.

"Wha- OUCH!" I rub my arm, my vision going blurry.

"What do you do to me," I slur out, but im pretty sure it just sounded like at, 'blahefegegeheheme..'

The last thing I see is Darius's evil face looking at me coldly before I fall into complete darkness
