Po's PoV:

It was burning all around...people screaming...panic ....chaos...fighting...blood...dead...that laughter...that spine chilling laughter...the single blood shot eye staring into ones very soul...filled with hatred anger......

I wake up screaming and drenched in sweat as usual. The clock on the side table shows the time as five thirty. Well it looks like my nightmares are a better alarm than any clock I would ever own. I stretch myself before getting off the floor. I try linking my thoughts to Shiera, but it just proves futile. She is still not responding. I don't understand why she is upset with me. I mean wasn't she the one more eager to get her revenge? I call out to her a few more times. Still no response. This is really pissing me off. I kick the quilt aside and storm into the bathroom. A warm shower, that's what I need right now. Pulling off my clothes, I step into the cubicle and let water work its Magic on my taut muscles.

Stepping into the room wrapped up in a bundle of towels, I walk over to the closet and pull out the hamper Lisa had left for me. I dump the contents on the bed. I can't help myself from smirking. School uniform, you know the kind with white shirt, black pleated slacks, socks, tie and a black blazer. The last time I wore such formal cloths was at Pacha's funeral. Do I feel silly? Oh definitely yes! I curse no one in particular and decide to get ready.

After failing miserably at tying the tie correctly, I knot it up in an unconventional fashion and leave it at that. The time is just six fifteen. That means still ample time before school. I guess if the garage is open I could go over and check on my bike. So I check my appearance once again, grab the blazer and rush out of the room, locking it behind me. Frankly I don't trust anyone all that much yet. As I rush down the stairs I bump into someone and before who ever it is falls I quickly grab hold.
"Are you ok ?" I ask steadying the person in my arms.
"Ya...I'm fine." Is the reply I get.
"Penny?" I ask quite surprised. She wriggles out of my arms and moves a few too many steps away.
"Hey.." Her voice comes out in a whisper. Something about her is a little off and when I move in closer to her, she moves farther away. That's when I notice that she's trying hard to hide her face from me. Getting a little concerned about her I try to reach out, but she just shoves my hand away.
"Penny, is everything alright? Something wrong?" I ask trying to get her to face me.
" I'm fine!! Just stop bothering me so much. You are so annoying." She yells at me angrily. The harshness of her voice stings like a slap across my face. Taken aback,I tell her I'm sorry and walk away. Even as I walk away I can hear her soft sobs and deep down I want to turn back and confront her about her sudden out burst. But I just ignore the feeling and continue walking. After all she made it clear that it's none of my business.
