Chapter 6: Misunderstanding

~Bella's POV~

It's been 2 weeks since the MTV awards, and in 2 days I'm joining Bruno on his tour so today I'm going to spend time with Jay and Luka cus I won't see them for a while.

When I get there, Tom is playing with the kids in the driveway with their dog Keito.

"Auntie Belya," Jay calls and he runs down to me as I get out of the car. I pick him up as Keito jumps up.

"Hey, boy," I say before I stroke Keitos head

I go up to Tom but he just takes Jay off me and goes into the house without saying a word.  I find this odd so I follow him in.  Before I even get through door, Tayla grabs me by my arm and pulls me into the kitchen before closing the door.

"Hey, what gives?" I ask.  "Just Tom blanks me and now you rough-handle me."

"Would you like to explain why I saw you kissing Bruno?"

My eyes widened and I don't answer.

"Bella, what the hell are you thinking?"

"I don't know what you're talking about.", I say trying to play it off

"Don't give me that, I saw you?"

"When?"

"Where do you think? Unless there's been more than once."

I don't say anything again but my face must give it away.

She scoffs. "Are you serious? Have you slept with him too?"

"No, I pulled away from him when he did. Trust me I don't want to do anything with him. If he wasn't with Jessica I would shoot my shot but I'm not doing so. I'm just trying to do my job", I sigh

"Well the. don't be a slut," she says and out of instinct I slap her for it

She grabs her cheek and stares at me in shock.

"I'm 24 now, Tayla.  I'm old enough to make my own decisions and how dare you say that to me."

"Really, how are you sure?"

"He started it."

"What are you, five? You're mature enough to say no."

"I did say no. Everything will be fine I will take care of it", I promise

"Shit will hit the fan when this could go public.  I don't want my children thinking this sort of behaviour is acceptable."

"I'm not listening to this because honestly you don't trust me to handle things. I don't want nothing to happen between Bruno and I and nothing will happen," I say before I turn to leave but she grabs me and made me look at her.

"Okay, but what if he makes you sleep with him what are you going to say now?", she says

I shaved my arm out of her grasp.

"I don't know because it's not going to happen, Look, I just came to see my nephew and niece before I leave. But I can see that I'm unwelcome here so I'm just going to go to work early", I say

"Oh, let me guess your going to see Bruno?", she mocks

"Actually, if you don't recall what I do I have to go and make sure these flights are under control asshole", I spit

With that, she attacks me, as she was pulling my hair and trying to get me down I was punching her and trying to get out of her grip. After a few minutes Tom rushes in and pulls us apart.

"What the hell are you doing?" he demands angrily looking from me to her.  "You're sisters for fucks sake, and the children are outside."

Me and Tayla stare at each other as we catch our breaths.

Tom turns to me.

"I want you to leave.  You're not welcome here while you're behaving like this.  I don't want you round my children," he says.

I look at Tayla, hoping she'll disagree but she says nothing and turns away.

"Fine!" I say before I turn and leave."by the way Tayla why don't you tell tom about the abortion you had a year ago", I say before slamming the door and leaving.

This day was going to shit.
