Chapter 33: Explain

Ugh, My head.

Everything felt so groggy and so. Weird.

Beep...Beep..

Where the hell am I?

I open my eyes and everything was blurry.

Beep...Beep

What the fuck was that noise?

I turn and see a monitor...a monitor that you would only see in hospital.

That's when I started to panic.what the fuck happen? Everything was such a blur that I couldn't remember anything.

"Oh my gosh", I breath as I touch my head in pain

I look for the call light that I was supposed to have, I find it, and press the button.

I feel around my belly and relief washes over me when I feel some flutters. Okay, at least I know that the baby is fine. But, where is Bruno?.

The door opens and a nurse walks in.

"Hello, Ms.Samuels how are you feeling?", she asks
"Fine"
"That's good"
"What happen...why am I here?", I ask

She gives me a dazed look.

"You don't remember anything?", she asks
"The only thing I remember was that me and my fiancé had family over, we were having an altercation, and when I turned to follow my fiancé out the room to help him calm down someone called my fathers name...then I blacked out", I explain

She sighs.

"Well, you've been asleep...well knocked out for 36 hours", she says

My eyes widened.

"What happened to me?", I ask
"Well, what we gathered from your sister and your mother in law. There was a fight and you were in the middle of it by mistake. Someone pushed you and you hit your head on a chair", she explains
"But, I'm alright? What about my baby?"
"Yes, your alright. Luckily you landed on your back so there isn't any damages with the baby."

I sigh in relief.

"What happened when I was out?"
"We had to sedate your fiancé", she says as she checks the machine
"Why?"
"He went crazy when we told him that you wouldn't wake up. It took I believe his brother, his friend, and another male nurse to hold him down.", she explains

I bite my lip.

"But we sent him home so I wouldn't be surprise if he'd come today"

There's a knock on the door and Dr.Masen walks in.

"I'll take it from her Aubrey", he says
"Yes, Dr.Masen", she says before handing him my file and leaving

She leaves and he comes over to me and starts to feel my stomach.

"What what's wrong?", I ask
"Nothing, I just came in and heard what happen. I'm just making sure the baby is alright", he says
"Is anyone here for me?", I ask
"Your mother in law is here", he says
"Anyone else?", I ask
"Beyoncé is here for you too also"
"Can you ask them to come in?", I ask
"Of course"
