Carol- Nicki! Meek! We're back!

I heard my mom downstairs calling my name but I was to exhausted to move.

Carol- Nicki!

I heard her stomping up the stairs and I knew she was on her way to my room to annoy me.

Carol- Onika get up! Didn't you miss me?

Not really.

Nicki- yes mom but but I'm tired.

Carol- it's almost noon, you never sleep this late. Get up and come downstairs, I have presents for you" she said before leaving my room.

I didn't wanna get up but since she had presents I decide to. I walked downstairs and everybody was already down. There was so much tension between Meek and I that I couldn't even look at him for long without feeling weird.

Carol- did you guys have fun?

Nicki- what do you mean fun? Why would we have fun?

Carol- with your friends over and not having any adults around is what I meant.

Meek- it was cool" he said while looking at me.

Carol- good, was she nice to you?

I looked down and shook my head. This was getting awkward real fast.

Nicki- I though you had presents?" I said trying to change the direction of this conversation.

Carol- we do, let me go get them

She ran upstairs to her room and came back down with a few bags.

Carol- I brought you both giant candy bars from this candy store that we went to. You would of loved it Onika!

Meek- thank you

Nicki- thanks mom

It wasn't what I wanted but it was cool.

Nicki- can I go back to my room now?

Carol- why can't you just spend some time with your mother?

Nicki- I'm really tired mom, can I please just go back to my room. I'll spend time with you later, I promise.

Carol- fine Onika

Nicki- thank you

I got up and walked slowly to my room. I wasn't really tired, I just wanted to be out of that awkward situation. I fell onto my bed and then I got a text. I looked at my phone and it was from Meek.

Meek- why you didn't come back last night?

Nicki- because I didn't wanna get caught in your bed

Meek- I would have got you up in time. You wanna come back down here tonight?

Nicki- shut up, you know that's not going to happen.

Meek- well then I'll come up there

Nicki- no Meek we can NOT get caught

Meek- well then come down here real quick

I peaked out of my door and I saw that my moms bedroom door was closed. I snuck past it making my way downstairs and then down to the basement. I got down and Meek was standing in the kitchen.

Nicki- show me whatever you have to show me and hurry up before we get caught

Carol- were about to go get dinner, we'll be back

I watched as she left and as soon as I seen her car pull off I ran downstairs.

Meek- couldn't stay away huh?

Nicki- shut up, they left and I got scared

Before I could protest he had picked me up and we were on our way to his room.

Meek- why did you tell me you was ready last night when you wasn't?
