Chapter 6 - Mission Starts

"I accept the mission." Ace said to Whitebeard.

Whitebeard was surprised actually. He never thought that you will actually be able to convince him.

"Oh? Really?"

"Yes."

"Very well then, you can leave whenever you want, but before the two of you do so, I have to talk to the both of you."

Ace nod and started to walk to your room.

Just as he was about ti knock on the door, you opened the door and walked straight into him.

"Ow! Oh, Ace. What's up?"

"Oyaji said that we have to talk to him before we go on the mission." Ace said.

Your smiled appeared on your face and it grew bigger.

"Stop smiling like an idiot." Ace said.

You started to laugh and the you jumped in his arms, hugging him.

"Haha! Thank you so much!"

People that walked passed you would stare for a moment and then continue walking, but with a smile on their faces.

"Hahaha, stop it! Everyone is watching us!" Ace said

"But you made me so happy!" You smiled and then kissed his cheek. "Thank you! I'll go and change!" You said with excitement.

Ace sighed. When he turned around he jumped in surprise to see Marco's face.

"What the hell, Marco!"

"What was that? I must admit now, Thatch was really saying the truth about you and (Name). Damn, it looks like I have no chance. Welul, too bad. Good job Ace!"

"Huh? What does that suppose to mean! Oi, Marco!" Ace ran after Marco, who was laughing.

Deja vu?

You finished changing and packing your bag, and now, you were good to go.

"Oi! Ace where the hell are you!?" You started to yell around the ship.

Right, Oyaji said he wants to talk to us before we go. I guess Ace is already there.

"Ah there you are!" Ace said.

Whitebeard turned towards you. You smiled at him and them sat next to Ace.

"Right, listen up, my childern. You have to understand something. Rayleigh isn't the type of person who stays in one place. He sure is everywhere. But there is one place I know he will return. You have to stay on that island until he returns or if you find him already there, you're in luck. Now, what I want you to learn from him is something very easy Ace."

"And that is?"

"Well, I guess just telling your name, he will understand why you went all the way to see him."

Ace didn't replied but nod.

"Farewell then! We'll see each other soon."

Bith of you got on Ace's special boat. You turned around and waved at the ither that came to see you leave.

"Byeee!"

Ace used his devil fruit powers and the Moby Dick started to fade little by little.

"Why are you so excited, geez. You're acting like a little kid." Ace said.

You giggled at his words.

"This is my first time I ever go on a mission as a pirate! I think I should be excited!"

"I don't know much about that... You're aware that you're going to have to fight marines, right?" Ace asked.

"What? No way! You do it!"

"Oh, don't worrie so much about it. You've been trained all this time by me. I don't think you have something to worrie about."

You rolled your eyes at his words.

"Oh what was the name of that island again?"

"Sabaody Archipelago"

Your eyes widen. You've heard of that island before.

"Well I guess it is a long way from here to Sabaody. Isn't it?"

But Ace didn't give you any attention about what you've said. You furrowed your brows at this. What is he thinking about?

"(Name)..." Ace said quietly.

You could feel it in the air. He was going to say something important and he wanted you to listen.

"Hai!"

"You must understand one thing about this island, before we even get there. Don't let it fool you by it's appearance. It's true, it's a beautiful place, but... This place it's also known for the kidnappers and for the slave tradings."

"Slave tranding?" It was the first time you would hear of this.

"Yes. And think about it, anyone will kill to get their hands on Whitebeard pirates as slaves."

You furrowed your brows. Now you were scared. What the hell is wrong with that place?

"Kill?" You repeated.

"(Name), no matter what happens, stay close to me. Slave trading is something Celestial Dragons like to do as a hobby. If they get their hands on a slave, that slave is forever gone."

"W-what?"

"Don't you know? The Celestial Dragons are the descendants of nineteen of the Twenty Kings who established what is now known as the World Government." Ace explained to you.

"They are that big of a deal?"

"Listen, you have to bow to them whenever they pass by. Also they are very arrogant. They don't even breathe the same air as the others."

"Geez, and why doesn't anyone beat the crap out of them?" You asked.

"If you punch one of the Celestial Dragons, they will summon an marine admiral just to kill whoever dared to touch them."

"Wow, they seem nice." You said sarcastically.

"Lisen up, they can also order anything they want. Whatever they please. Look, I'm telling you this because you're not ugly... They can make any woman their wifes."

You started to laugh at that.

"Oh? What's this? Are you jealous, Ace?"

Ace only blushed but then shooked his head.

"W-why would I be! I'm telling you this because after you become their property, there is no way out."

"You're trying to scare me, aren't you?"

"(Name)! Did you paid any attention to anything I've said so far?!"

"Yeah, but don't worrie. I'm not that big of an idiot to not know about the Celestial Dragons. I mean, who would be such an idiot to punch a Celestial Dragon?" You said while giggling.

Ace only lowered his head.

Luffy would.

"Ah, and how much is it going to take to arrive there?"

"Considering the fact that it's the final island in Paradise..."

"The final island?! That means that it's close to the Red Line?"

"Bravo! You've done your homwework."

"Shut up. Just concentrate in the front."

"It's only water! What do you expect us to hit?!"

"I don't know! Stop being a smartass! It's annoying."

Ace smirked and the turned his attention back to your eyes.

"Huh?"

"Did you grabbed the Log Pose?"

"Fuck..."
