You stared at Ace's face, trying to find out if he was in fact joking around or being a hundred percent serious. He has to be joking! He can't do this to you, not after all these adventures.
Your smile turned into a frown. Weren't the two of you going to support each other in everything you were doing? He just said how he leans on your shoulder and now he's saying the exact opposite?
"W-what are you talking about?" You stuttered.
"Look, I know I'm selfish for asking you this but... I want you to go back with pops and the others. If what you say about Teach it's true, then I don't want you to get hurt." He said in very calm voice as he was stroking your cheek.
You slapped his hand away and stood up on your feet. Ace stood up aswell looking confused at your sudden move.
"Don't f*cking touch me. Ace, I cannot leave you alone on this journey. If anything, I mean ANYTHING would happen to you, I would probably blame myself for the rest of my life." You felt a few tears streaming down your cheeks. Ace grabbed your chin, making you look into his eyes.
He wimped away the tears and then he kissed your forehead.
"Nothing will ever happen to me, I swear. I made this promise to you and my brother. There's no way I would leave behind two crybabies like you." He chuckled.
You giggled and then playfully hit him in his arm. "I hate you." You leaned on his chest and mumbled againstn it.
"I love you too." He smiled and hugged you. "But I'm serious right now, (Name). I'm sorry but as a division commander I have to give you the order to go back to the ship." He said.
Your eyes widen at his words. He never, and I mean NEVER gived you orders or talked to you as the commander. (*Kinky people are triggered*)
"B-but Ace-" you started but Ace grabbed your shoulders and made you look back at him.
"You almost died once. I'm not letting that happen ever again." He said in a low voice as his eyes were covered by thw shadow of his hat. (SHIT JUST GOT SERIOUS)
"Okay... I understood. I'll be leaving in the morning." You said.
Ace smiled at you and kissed your cheek. You forced a smile and then wimped away the upcoming tears that were forming.
Ace noticed the sad face you had and decided to do something about it. He kissed you lips, kiss which you gladly accepted. You placed a hand around his neck and the other one went into his hair.
He grabbed you by your ass which made you gasp. He took that opportunity to enter his tongue into your mouth. The two of you battled for dominance but in the end, he won. (<very original line every single smut has)
You broke the kiss to get some air but not even a few seconds later Ace attacked your neck with kisses. Once he found that certain spot, he started to suck it.
"Ahh, Ace stop it! You'll leave a mark!" You whined. Ace just sucked harder, action which made you moan. You could feel his smirk as he kept on kissing and biting that spot.
"Perfect!" He said as he was admiring his 'masterpiece'.
"You jerk! Wasn't I supposed to go back to pops? What are the others going to say when-"
"That's exactly the reason why I left that mark there, darling. They'll know that you're taken in every way possible." Ace smirked.
You rolled your eyes at his childishness. He just chuckled at your reaction and he leaned in for another kiss.
The kiss soon bacame more needing and you felt as if you were on fire. Ace growled and ripped your shirt.
"Hey! I liked that shirt!" You complained.
"Yeah, well I like it more when you're not wearing it. Actually scratch that, I like it more when you don't wear anything at all and you're just a shivering mess under me." He said in your ear.
You blushed at his dirty words and then smirked. You decided to tease him by moving your hips 'accidentally'. He let out a gasp and then he chuckled.
"That wasn't accidentally, was it?" He asked.
You just shrugged and smiled innocently.
"Two can play that game, (Name)." He said.
—————————————————— The following morning Ace was the first one to wake up. He waited for you to wake up aswell so that the two of you could leave this island.
Ace grabbed his bag and jumped on the boat.
"Come, I have to give you a ride to the next-" Ace started to he stopped once he saw a pirate ship.
You looked at the flag. Something about it seemed very familiar.
"That's..." Ace said in a low voice. "Shanks?" He sounded a little bit surprised.

Thank you a for all the votes! This is a huge milestone since I never hit 1k so early! But considering the fact that I never wrote a 30+ chapter story maybe that's probably the main reason.
