Chapter 7
P.O.V Mareslya
I woke up in the middle of the night still laying on the floor. Jazz was laying on the bed still asleep. We watched the beginning of Pitch Perfect and fell asleep. I have no clue how long Jazz and Derrit breakup will last. They need to makeup before we all take our parents place as head of the pack.
I'll forgive my brother when Jazz does. But until then he a stranger. I slip out the room while Jazz is still asleep. I open Shaquan bedroom door to see if he's sleep. He was laying on his back staring at the ceiling. So I walk over to him.
"Hey why are you still awake?" I ask while slipping in the bed next to him.
"Well I couldn't sleep because my bed felt empty. And I also figured out why Derrit cheated on Jazz." Shaquan said while wrapping his arms around me and pulling me to his chest.
"Why did Derrit cheat?"
"When I was trying to get Derrit to leave the party, his drink smelt funny. So I took it from him. Someone put some type of drug in his drink. Since he was drinking it, it made him forget somethings. But since he didn't finish it he still had some of his memories. But one of the things he forgot was that he had a mate. I have no clue how the drug ended up in his drink. Derrit should be back to normal around 10 a.m." Shaquan explained to me.
"Well now we have to tell Jazz this in the morning. And i bet that the girl thats was hanging onto his arm like a life line was the one who drugged him. If I ever see her again I will put her in the hospital."
"I know how you feel about the whole situation but you can't do that because she's from a different pack. And that would mean that we would have to battle over the school."
"Fine I won't do it then."
After that conversation we both went to sleep.
9 a.m
I woke up early in the morning. I don't even know how thats possible since I went to sleep around 4 a.m. Anyways I figured since I was up might as well go talk to Jazz and tell her everything.
Shaquan is still asleep and he snores really loud. I slipped out of bed and out the room. Most of the house is still asleep, because most of people who live here went to the party. And the people who are up just got back from the party.
Jazz was still sleep on my bed when I walked into the room. Me being the awesome best-friend I am decided that I should have some fun while waking her up. So i screamed Superman and jumped on her.
She shoot up from her bed looking panicked. Then when she saw me on the other side of the bed laughing she shoot me a death glare. Which made me laugh more. Jazz crawled over to the side of the bed that I was on and pushed me off the bed. But I was still laughing when I hit the ground.
"You better have a good reason for waking me up early in the morning especially since you know I'm not a morning person." Jazz said while I was still laughing.
Omg... You should have seen your face." I said between my laughter. "I can't breathe." I said clutching my stomach.
"Well if thats all you wanted, I'm going to go back to sleep." Then she pulled the cover back over her head.
"No. I have good news." The pulled the cover completely off of her. "I know why Derrit cheated on."
"I truly don't care anymore. There is no reason good enough to know why he broke my heart. "
"I don't care if you want to know or not, but I'm telling you anyways." She sighed. "Someone drugged Derrit. So he couldn't remember somethings. So he couldn't remember somethings. So he couldn't remember that he had a mate."
"I bet I know who drugged him. The girl he was kissing in the kitchen. I guess I should talk to him."
"Yeah you should. But most likely he won't remember anything from last night."
After I said that she left the room. I guess she went to go talk to Derrit. And I'm going back to bed.
P.O.V Jazz
After I talked to Mars I headed to the kitchen. I knew Derrit most likely has a hangover. Especially after being drugged. I got the bottle of advil from the medicine cabinet and a cup of water. And went back upstairs to me and Derrit room.
Derrit was still a sleep and snoring very loud. He looked so funny and cute. So i decided to take a picture. But I forgot to turn the flash off.
"What are you doing?" Derrit asked still half asleep.
"Nothing. How do you feel?"
"Like my head attacking me."
"Here take these." I handed him the advil and water. He took the advils.
"Okay. So whats wrong with you? I can sense your worried and not in a good way."
"Do you remember anything from last night?"
"No. Why?"
"Well... Last night." A tear rolled down my cheek. And he wiped it away with his thumb. "You cheated on me. You kissed another girl." By then I was full out crying. And it wasn't pretty. Derrit wrapped his arms me.
"Baby what are you talking about? I would never cheat on you. It doesn't matter how drunk I get."
"You weren't drunk last night, you were drugged."
"Crap..... I can't believe she drugged me when she got my drink. Thats why I couldn't remember anything." Derrit mad me look at him. And he starred into my eyes. "Baby I would never hurt you on purpose. You are my life. And without you I don't know what I would do. Please tell me you forgive me. Because I love you and would never hurt you."
"I forgive you. And I love you too." I said with a smile on my face. Then he kissed me. This kiss was full of love, regret, and happiness and other things. I'm so glad I have him as a mate.
