Chapter 11

P.O.V Mareslya

Shaquan stopped crying after a few seconds and snapped out of the frozen state he was in. Then he got up with me still on his lap.

"We need to go." Shaquan said. He opened the passenger car door for me then got in the car. Shaquan sped to the hospital. We made it there in 15 minutes and that was suppose to be a half hour drive. Her ran to the front desk.

The lady there looked so scared. She wouldn't even look Shaquan in the eye. What made it worst was that she was human. So I decided to take control of the situation before the poor girl fainted.

"Excuse me we need Serious Davis room number." I said politely.

"Are you family?" She asked me. I was about to answer but Shaquan said something before I could.

"No we just came here looking for some random person." Shaquan said sarcastically.

"Don't pay him attention. Yes we are his family thats his son." I said.

"Room 108 to the right." The lady at the desk said. Shaquan took off faster than a rocket.

Shaquan ran into the room. Serious was laying in the hospital bed with the heart monitor thing beeping and Marie was holding his hand.

P.O.V Shaquan
My dad just laid there looking so vulnerable. And mom looked broken. Dad looked at me.

"I Serious Davis give my position as Alpha to Shaquan Davis." I felt all his power being given to me. I probably would have been happy if it was under different circumstances. "Shaquan you need to listen to me. Take care of your mother for me. I love the both of you. I will always be with you. And you Mars" my dad said while turning his head to look at Mars. "Will make a wonderful Luna. Marie promise me you will try to find love again."

"I can't." My mom said sobbing. I walked over to her and hugged her.

"Yes you can." Was the last thing my dad said before the monitor went off signaling he was gone.

My mom started sobbing even harder. I hugged her tighter. Mars walked over to my dad and closed his eyes. Just then the nurse came in and tried to take his body out of the room. I growled at her. Good thing she was also a werewolf. She backed away immediately. Mars came over to me and stood in front of me and hugged me. My head was laying on her stomach so I couldn't see anything. But I know she told the nurse to take the body. I cried onto her stomach while I was still hugging my mom.

I don't know what I would do without Mars. She ran her fingers through my hair as I cried. After a while my mom stopped crying and so did I. We finally decided that we should go back home. Mars drove. When we made it back home people looked at to see if my dad made it or not. I just shook my head 'no.'

Today was a real depressing day. Most people staid in theirs rooms. I did the same thing. Mars came in the room after checking on the pack. She sat up in the bed and I laid my head on her lap.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Mars asked while playing with my hair.

"I can't believe he's gone. If i'm taking this, this hard I can't imagine how my mom feels. That was her mate the person she was suppose to spend the rest of her life with. She shouldn't be alone today."

"And she's not my mom is keeping Marie company."

"Thank you so much. I don't know what I would do without you."

"The funeral tomorrow so we need to be ready by 9. I already took care of everything. But you should get some sleep. She kissed my forehead and I went to sleep still laying my head on her lap.
