Chapter Seven

LUCI'S POV

*Three Years Later*

I was so excited. Cody is coming home for four weeks tomorrow! The last time I had seen him was when he flew me and the boys out to LA for his Sixteenth birthday two months ago. While we were there we met loads of Cody's famous friends. It was also my sixteenth birthday while we were in LA as well.

Cody and all of his family were coming. I was still really close to Alli as well. Their family was like my second family. I couldn't wait to see them.

I met with the boys at the beach to surf and talk about Cody coming home. He had just released his first full length album and we are all so proud of him.

The beach was as crowded as always but I couldn't mistake the boys. Jake and Josh were beach surfing and Cam was chatting up some girl. Smooth Cam. Smooth. I went over to Jake and Josh and put my surf board down with them. "Luci!" Jake said hugging me. "Hey Jake," I said smiling. Cam came running over. "Get her number then?" I asked jokingly. "Nah, not my type," he said laughing. "Boyfriend?" Jake asked him. "He was huge!" Cam said and we all laughed.

We sat around on the beach for ages all excited for tomorrow. "Hey baby," a male voice said from behind me. I smiled as I realised who it was. My boyfriend Luke. I giggled and tapped the sand next to me signalling for him to sit down. "You guys excited for tomorrow then?" Luke asked. "Can't wait. All if us together in Australia again. Surfing, sitting on the beach, surfing," Jake said making us all laugh.

"Someone come surfing with me? Need to get my practice in," I said jokingly. "Come on then, let me show you how you actually surf," Josh said pushing me. As soon as me and Josh got to the sea I looked over and saw Luke was walking away from Jake and Cam. He looked angry but I could sort it later.

Me and Cam surfed for about an hour before I had to go to meet Luke. He wanted to meet me with his friends. I had to admit all his friends were intimidating and mainly girls but I didn't mind because I'm always with boys. We left the sea and Jake said he would take my surf board home for me. I said goodbye to them and walked down the beach to meet Luke.

Luke was leaning against the rock where we always meet. Looking like a God. His light brown hair falling effortlessly in a perfect way. His deep blue eyes shining. He didn't have a shirt on and his abs and biceps looked incredible. "Hey gorgeous," he said pulling me into him and kissing me passionately. I laughed and pulled away. We walked hand in hand down the beach till we reached all his friends. The girls were laying in a line in their bikinis flirting and tanning.

"Hey Luke," One of the girls said in a flirty way. It made me feel slightly protective and without realising I squeezed his hand a little tighter. Luke laughed and kissed my forehead. "Hey Luci," Luke's best friend Ben said. "Hey Ben," I replied. One of the girls looked at me giving me the evil eyes. "Who even is she?" I whispered to Luke. "I don't even know," Luke replied making me laugh. "Did you bring your board?" Ben asked me. "No I left it behind," I said. "Shame, you're rather good actually," Ben said pushing my shoulder. I laughed and sat with Luke and Ben.

CODY'S POV

I couldn't wait to go home to Australia and see my boys and of course to see Luci. I wanted to meet her new boyfriend as well. Jake, Cam and Josh had already told me they don't like him but Luci seems really happy. He's the first boyfriend she has had since being in Australia and I was really happy for her. Me and Kylie ha just broken up and it didn't upset me as much and I thought it would.

I couldn't help but wonder what they were all doing right now. Probably on the beach or something.

LUCI'S POV

I didn't really like being around Luke's friends. I felt really awkward and out of place. The only people I actually talk to is Luck and Ben but half the time they go off and leave me by myself. Luke came walking towards me carrying two drinks. "I got you one," he said kissing my cheek. "Thank you baby," I replied taking one of the drinks. "Why don't you talk to some of the girls? Me and Ben are about to go to the sea unless you want to come as well?" He said. "You know I think I'm going to go back to Jake, Cam and Josh." I said. "Me and Ben can come with you if you like?" He offered. "Only if you want to, I would love you to but it's up to you," "I want to be with you. I doubt I will see you much while Cody is here," he said grabbing my hand and helping me off the rock. "Come on Ben," Luke said leading us down the beach towards where the boys were last.

They were still sitting there laughing. "Hey guys," I said sitting with them. "Hey Luci, hey guys," Josh said. Luke and Ben sat with us but it just felt awkward. "You know, I'm just going to see you tomorrow, maybe, if you have time. I'll text you later okay," Luke said kissing me softly and walking off with Ben. As soon as they left the awkward tension disappeared. I noticed Jake sitting on my surf board. "Comfy," I asked laughing. "Yeah," he replied winking. We sat around talking for ages.

We decided it was time to walk home and we arranged to meet again tomorrow morning just before Cody got here. Jake was walking me home. Just as we reached my house I saw a figure sitting I the wall by the driveway. "See you tomorrow," Jake said walking away. I walked a bit closer and saw Luke on his phone. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked him. "I couldn't wait to see you," he said standing up and hugging me.

He put his shirt on and we went inside. "Hey guys," Mum said. "Hey Miss. Crook," Luke said making mum smile. "Did you guys want some dinner?" Mum offered. "Yeah please," I said. Mum went into the kitchen and Me and Luke went up to my room.

I turned on my laptop and went through my messages. I grabbed my phone and saw I had a few messages from Cody. Most of them said he was excited to come home. I couldn't wait for him to be here. Mum came into my room with two bowls of pasta for me and Luke. "Thank you mum," I said. "Thank you Miss Crook," Luke said smiling. "Luke please call me Julie," Mum said leaving the room

Me and Luke watched random YouTube clips and talked until his mum phoned wondering where he was. I loved his mum. She was always so kind when i went there. Luke kissed me passionately again and then left my house. He blew me a kiss as he walked away making me smile. He was so sweet. I just couldn't understand how the boys didn't like him.

The next day I woke up to my alarm. I was meeting the boys on the beach at 11am. It was now 10am. We had the next few weeks off school for the holiday. Cody was meeting us on the beach at 1 o'clock. I don't know why but I have butterflies in my stomach. I changed quickly, done my makeup and put my hair in a ponytail. I grabbed my IPhone from where it was charging and ran downstairs. I picked up my surf board on the way out. No doubt I would need it.

Cam was already at the beach when I got there. "Hey Luci!" he said excitedly. "Hey Cam," I replied hugging him. "I heard Luke was at your house when you got back yesterday," Cam said sounding interested. "Yeah, that was, well, that was weird," I admitted. "I don't even get why you like him," he said under his breath. "He treats me right," I said smiling. Cam didn't reply. Instead he sat on his board and drew in the sand.

Jake and Josh came and we all sat on our boards. It was nearing 1 o'clock and we were all getting excited. "I'm going to surf for a bit, anyone coming?" Cam said. Jake and Josh went with him so I was now alone on the beautiful beach. I sat on my board listening to music and constantly checking the time. Ten past 1. Where is Cody? About another twenty minutes went passed and the boys were still surfing. Cody wasn't here either. I was starting to get bored on my own so I started to people watch.

"Hey new girl," I heard someone say. I turned to find Cody smiling at me. Wow, Cody got hot. Immediately I jumped up into his arms. "Cody! I have missed you so much!" He laughed and said "I missed you too,"

The boys must of noticed Cody because not long after I saw him they were all running over. "Hey Bro!" Jake said hugging him. Everyone said their hellos and we sat down.
