Luci is just any other 12 year old British girl, but when her mum gets offered a job promotion in Australia she has to make the big move. Being the new girl and not knowing anyone life for her in Australia isn't working the way she planned. No one at her school will give her a chance but when her next door naighbour Cody starts to become friends with her, her whole life is once again flipped around. Luci suddenly finds herself with a group of friends. When Cody leaves for his record deal her new friends stay by her side.

Three years later they are all 16 and Cody returns to Australia. Luci has a new boyfriend but not everything is as it seems. Will true love shine through? Or are they destined to be just friends?
