Chapter Twenty-One

LUCI'S POV

I changed quickly and went over to Cody's. I knocked on his balcony door and Alli answered. She threw her arms around me and hugged me tightly. "I'll miss you," she said. "I'll miss you too, don't make me cry," I said pulling away from her. She smiled at me and moved to the side so I could go to Cody.

He was lent over his suitcase, his blonde hair left scruffy like he had just woken up, he blue eyes focused on the case in front of him. I moved to him a held one of his massive hands. He smiled at me. His perfect lips forming the perfect smile. I softly kissed his cheek and finished zipping up his bag for him. He didn't say anything but by the way he looked at me I could tell what he was thinking. He stood up pulling me with him. "Alli, can you give us a minute?" Cody asked. Alli nodded and left the room.

Cody wrapped his arm round my waist and pulled me into him. I looked up to him. His beautiful blue eyes shining on me. His beautiful pink lips came crashing to mine. The kiss was heated and passionate. His large hands lifting me up and pulling my legs round his waist. He seemed like he used no effort to lift me.

Cody moved back and sat on his bed. We were still kissing and I still had my legs wrapped round him. Cody pulled back braking our kiss. "I love you," he said looking into my eyes. Three simple words may have just changed my life. I smiled at him and kissed him again.

There was a knock at the door and Alli came in. "Sorry but Cody we have to leave now," Alli said. Cody nodded and Alli left the room again. Cody stood up placing me on my feet. He held my hand tightly and with his freehand he lifted his suitcase.

Jake, Cam and Josh were all downstairs waiting to say their goodbyes. They all had individual hugs and then we all had a massive group hug. Unfortunately the time came where Cody, Alli, Brad, Angie and of course Tom had to leave. I cried as I watched them drive away. That was it. They were gone. Suddenly, it hit me. When would I next see them? I couldn't wait all that time to see them again.

I invited the boys round to mine tonight so they could stay over. With Mum wedding planning I really needed some company right now and we were all going to be missing them. Missing Cody.

The boys were all coming back to mine at 4pm. I went into the kitchen of my house and saw mum and Steve sitting at the table with loads of wedding magazines and notepads and pens spread across the table. "Need some help?" I asked. "Yes!" Mum said sounding relieved to see me. "Okay so do we use light green or light blue?" Mum said. "Neither." I say simply. "So what colours do we have? We need a colour scheme!" Mum said sounding stressed. "Mum calm down, I think light purple. It suits your skin tone, it will look great, it's a beautiful colour and I like purple," I said happily. "I hadn't thought of that," mum said. Writing it down in her notepad. The three of us stayed planning for ages before I headed up to my room.

I went out onto my balcony and looked over to Cody's balcony. I smiled picturing him sitting out there with his guitar. "I love you too Cody," I whispered. Why hadn't I told him earlier? I looked at my phone to see the time. Cody would have about ten hours left on his flight back to LA.

I was snapped from my thoughts when I heard the doorbell ring. "Luci!" Mum shouted. I ran downstairs and saw Jake standing at the door. "Come in," I said letting him in and heading back upstairs.

Not long after Jake arrived Cam and Josh arrived. We all sat in my room talking. "Luci? What's wrong?" Jake asked. "What? Oh, nothing," I lied. "Come on Luci, it's obvious there is. Missing Codes?" Cam said. "Something like that," I replied. "Tell us about it? What's really on your mind?" Josh said. Just then I burst into tears. "Cody told me he loved me just before he left. The thing is I never said it back. I want to tell him how much I love him but at that moment I knew I couldn't say anything to him without crying. I didn't want him to remember me crying." I said letting the tears fall. Jake moved to me and wrapped his arms around me. The boys were so supportive. "Luci, it isn't too late to tell him you know, you can do it when you next talk to him,"

I wiped my eyes. "I suppose you're right." Jake rubbed my arm and gave me a squeeze. I couldn't help but feel sad though, my boyfriend is in a different country. Josh, Cam and Jake started talking about surfing. I didn't feel like joining in. Jake still had his arm around me as a sign of comfort. Tears started falling from my eyes again, this time I was silent about it. "Luci?!" Cam said sweetly I just wiped my eyes and smiled "yes?" He turned to face me "Look Luci, you're obviously not okay, talk about it, it will help!" I took a deep breath. Jake hugged me again and Josh and Cam came over and pulled me into a group hug. "I guess I'm just scared. What if Cody forgets about me or falls out of love with me. I- I just.." I was cut off by my tears again. Josh, Cam and Jake all looked at each other as if silently communicating. "Luci, Cody loves you, he has since the day he met you, he's not going to 'fall out of love' with you." They all hugged me again. I wasn't convinced but I nodded anyway.

We sat around for a few hours with the boys comforting me. "Let's watch Harry Potter," I said trying to smile. We all went downstairs and grabbed my Harry Potter box set. "This one, it's my favourite," Jake said putting the disc in the DVD player. I smiled as we all sat on the sofa with blankets wrapped around us. I rested my head on Jake's shoulder and we watched the film.
