CHAPTER 3

The day went by without much drama and i'm starting to relax. My classmates were not bad at all. They were all nice and friendly. Maybe because I'm new here and they were curious about me. I wonder how Luke was doing. The bell signals the end of our class and I realized it was lunch time.

I gathered my things when 3 of my classmates stand in front of my desk.

" Hi, I'm Alex, this is Mike and that is Jake." Lex is a kinda good natured guy. He seems friendly to everyone in class, he's goofy but looks like a badass at the same time.

"ALex, please stop harrassing Meg, i don't want her to transfer again because she can't stand your presence" Rhian playfully nudge ALex.

"Hey, you can't just hoard Meg all to yourself. We want to be friends with her too you know." Mike told Rhian.

I am really surprised. They want to be friends with me? Really? In my old school, i was so used of being a wall flower. Even though Nina is really popular in school, i'm not confident as her. I'm used to having only her as my friend. Even Luke is pressuring me to be a social butterfly like he is. He said i'm ruining his reputation for having an unpopular twin.

"Hey, come on I'm hungry. Let's get going okay." Jake started walking to the door and we all followed.

I can't still comprehend why these people want to be friends with the plain me. I look at myself wearing skinny jeans, a shirt underneath my loose jacket. And i saw Rhian wearing a cute mini skirt and a fitted turtleneck longsleeves that looks like cashmere. And the guys were all good looking i guess. And i realized that everyone here looks more than average to downright gorgeous and seems to be loaded base on the way they dress and things they have.

I don't know how they got such beautiful clothes when it looks like Ravenwood doesn't have any decent mall or something.

The cafeteria was busy as hell... hey I haven't been to hell but I like the expression okay...

"Hey watch out sis" Luke almost collided with me. He was talking amiably to the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen in my entire life.

I was standing with my mouth open looking at him like I've seen an angel. He was tall, taller than Luke who is 6ft tall, with lean muscular built that is obvious in his fitted black shirt and his face, gosh no words can describe how handsome his face is. He has deep brown eyes that held a thousand secrets, pointed nose and red lips that is perfectly shaped.

"Earth to Meg" Luke was waving his hand on my face. " Will you close your mouth Meg, you are embarrassing me" Luke discreetly whisper on my ear.

I was so embarrassed i can feel my face heat up. How could i be so stupid as to stare openly with my mouth hanging open. I want to bury my face in a hole right now.

" Casper, this is my twin sister Meg. Meg meet my friend Casper."

Casper just tilt his head to acknowledge me, a bored expression on his face. Even Rhian and the rest of the guys with me are radiating a bit of wariness towards him.

" Luke these are my classmates, Rhian, Alex, Mike and Jake. And i guess you know Casper already." They all nod and bow their heads a little as a greeting. Wow, they seem so formal around him, very different from their carefree selves. I wonder why, maybe he's kind of the king bully here or something. I saw a slight smirk on Casper's face like he was thinking about something funny.

" We are having lunch, you want to come with us? " I ask Luke. But he just wave and told us that He and Casper are going to eat outside and that he'll just wait for me later so we could go home together. I just nod and watch Luke with Casper go.

" Let's find our seats guys" Alex cheerfully said, back with his old goofy grin.

" Uhm, you all seem kind of wary towards Casper. Is he some kind of mean or bully here? I don't want Luke getting associated with bad crowds you know." I asked them awkwardly. Luke is always friends with the right crowd. He's the star player of basketball in our old school and he's also the president of the student body. He is what could be the beauty and brains of the two of us.

I notice that they were anxiously looking at each other and i'm beginning to think the worst of Casper.

"Hey, it's not like that. He is not really bad or mean, maybe an arrogant ass considering who he is" Rhian says in a low tone like he was afraid someone might overhear.

I look around and notice that everyone was looking at the door where Casper had gone. Everyone seems to be excited about his presence here.

"What do you mean considering what he is?" I asked a little confused.

" Oh did i say that, uhm how could i say this..... he is like a royalty here because their family is the most powerful here, something like that. He skip last schoolyear. I think he went to Europe to study there." Rhian explained but i don't feel like she's telling everything. I can feel hidden meanings with her words but i can't get myself to think what she could be hiding. Oh well, maybe his family is the richest and governs this small town.
