CHAPTER 21

Casper called me to say that he will visit me. I am a little flustered because Sebastian is with me. I feel guilty although I haven't done anything to be guilty of.

After my reply I heard the doorbell again. I immediately went to open the door and I saw Casper standing seriously at the door.

"Casper." I am confused because he seems angry.

"Hey come in, Sebastian is here actually." I saw a sudden tick on his jaw and there is a certain glint on his eyes. I felt a little uncertain but I know I'm not doing anything wrong.

"I didn't know you and my brother is that close that he spends his day at your house." Casper says as soon as he walks inside.

He stops and look intensely at Sebastian while still standing. I glance at Seb and saw him stand and look at his brother intensely as well. They seem to be having a staring contest and no one is backing down.

"Hey, Your brother told me you were busy. I didn't know you will get upset since I thought since he is your twin brother, we can be close friends as well."

Casper isn't still looking at me but still frowning on Sebastian.

"You told me you will be busy the whole day so I thought I could accompany Meg today. You know it isn't safe for her to be alone." There was an edge to Sebastian's voice as he looks at Casper squarely.

I am getting frustrated with the two of them especially with Casper. I don't know why he is acting so weird when I am just being friendly with Seb.

I know there seem to be some kind of connection with me and Sebastian and I do find him attractive because he is really good looking but I know that Casper is my boyfriend and I wouldn't do anything to ruin our relationship.

I am about to break the tension between the two when Casper suddenly stands in front of Sebastian.

"You don't have any right to interfere Seb. This has nothing to do with you." Casper was seething with rage. I am confused of what is happening. I don't know what's making Casper furious.

"I told you she is vulnerable to attacks of our kind. Something happened already and if you can't protect her, I will." Sebastian shouted at him.

I saw Casper moved so fast I didn't know possible and before I knew it he was holding Seb at his collar.

"She is mine. I will decide what is best and what is not for her. You have no say on this." Then he punched Seb.

"Stop it Casper. What the hell is wrong with you. You were acting weird since last night. Leave Seb alone." I shouted at Casper while pulling him away from Seb.

"Stay away from this. I will settle this with my brother." He said furiously at me before pushing me away. I flew all the way to the kitchen from how hard Casper shoved me. I flinch from the impact and cry out when I saw a large cut on my arm.

The brothers stopped fighting at once and look at me. I saw a horror look on Sebastian's face but when I turn to look at Casper, I almost passed out from terror.

His eyes is glowing red and two pointed fangs can be seen on his teeth as he growled at me.

"Casper what is going on? Why do you have fangs and your eyes are glowing red?" I controlled the hysteria on my voice. I can feel the numbness on my arm and saw my blood flowing from the open wound.

Before I could move I heard Sebastian shouting at Casper before he descend on me and clamp his mouth on my wounded arm and then everything becomes blurry as blackness engulf me.

I was in and out of consciousness for a while. I can hear murmurings from my surroundings but I can't focus on anything. It's like I'm in a deep slumber and dreaming of nonesense things.

I saw Sebastian's face one time when I tried to open my eyes but then something feels weird on my body I suddenly fell asleep again.

It feels like I've slept for a week when I finally opened my eyes. I blink a few times before I focus on my surroundings. There was something familiar in the room I'm in. Then I remember everything that happened. I looked at the wound in my arm to find that there is no wound or a scar on it. I feel so confused and disoriented and I gasp when I saw a figure sitting near the window. I almost yell hysterically when I thought it is Casper when the figure jerk suddenly and then stood with his arms upward as if in surrender as he approach me warily.

"Hey Meg, it's okay I won't hurt you. I will never hurt you." Then I saw that it was Sebastian. I can see the concern look on his face as he comes closer to me. I can sense his anger and sadness. It's like I can read every expression on his face and right then I knew that he would never hurt me.

"Seb, what is happening? What happened to Casper?" I don't want to ask him about why Casper had fangs or why did he attacked me because I can't still bring myself to believe what happened that time.

"Do you remember everything Meg?" He feels afraid at the moment but also very angry.

"Yes, I... Is what I saw and what I am thinking is true?" I hate to say the word vampire because it feels like I'm losing my mind.

"What do you think happen Meg and what did you think did you see?" He wouldn't give me a straightforward answer.

"Casper attacked me. He drank my blood... I... I don't know what to think."

"You remember what I told you in your dreams about who I am?" I was taken aback by what he said.

"What are you saying? It can't be..... it was just a dream." I refused to believe that there are vampires and my dreams can't possibly be true.

"Meg, I'm sorry but that dream is real. I am that Sebastian and I am a vampire."

Hello.... It's been a long time. I've been busy for a while and then when I tried to continue the story I honestly had a writer's block. I don't know where to go in the story. But I will try my best to finish this although I am writing other books as well. Your comments and suggestions will be much appreciated.
