My Vampire Prince (VSLOW UPDATE)

CHAPTER 11

After watching a movie, Casper just dropped me off at the entrance of our home. When i finally came in, i saw my parents talking in the kitchen.

"I'm back. Are you guys waiting for me? " I asked them

"Are you dating that guy?" My dad asked abruptly. I was irritated because i really like Casper and it seems i might have a problem with them.

"Dad, he just asked me out okay. And if ever we are dating, i think it's my own business. I'm 18 next week." I told them exasperated.

"You don't know him well. I think you should stop seeing him." My dad told me sternly.

Before i could even say something my mother interrupted us.

"Meg, i think your dad is right. We are not prohibiting you to hang out but i don't think he is good for you. You are young, you should not commit yourself to anyone yet. Enjoy your youth. Please baby, we only want what's best for you. Just think about it okay."

They left me staring after them with a lot of questions in my head. Casper really made a bad impression on them. I wonder what happened before i came down earlier.

I was lying in bed when Luke knock quietly on my door.

"Hey, i don't know why mom and dad don't like Casper. I heard them talking to you when u got home. As long as he is treating you right, i'm okay with it" Luke said while sitting at the ottoman near my bed.

I really want to hug Luke right now. I know we sometimes clash and have disagreements but i know that he will always support me in everything i set my mind into and in every decision i made.

"Thanks Luke. I really like Casper you know. I just want to give this a chance. Im new to this so your support is really appreciated. " i smile at my brother and then we bid goodnight with each other.

Although im really tired i still can't seem to sleep. I recall our date in my mind and i can't help but blush when i thought about the time we were watching movie.

There were only a few patrons at the movie house. We watch this teen flick movie and we were laughing with the absurdity of the plot.

We were eating popcorn when we grab it at the same time. Instead of withdrawing his hand, he held it and kiss my palm tenderly.

I can feel butterflies in my stomach. I can't believe this is happening to me. I think im really falling for Casper for real.

He held my hand the whole time we were watching and i let him. His hand is smooth and a little cold. I like the way he is tracing his thumb on my wrist a little now and then as though absentmindedly.

The movie was almost finish when he suddenly turn my way, i can't help but look at him too. He was really beautiful in a masculine way. His eyes is luminous in the dark and i was mesmerized by the depth of them.

He bend his head slowly and stop when we were so close. He was waiting for me to stop him but i just keep still, he kiss me tenderly on the lips. It was just brief and so chaste i would have grab his head to kiss him more if not for the light suddenly turning on signalling the movie just ended.

Oh gosh, i think im going to melt just thinking about it again' i whispered to myself while hugging my pillow tight. And i fell asleep dreaming about Casper for once.

After our date, Casper becomes a constant figure on my side. He is always with me especially if he is not in class. But i can't let him visit me at home yet because i don't want to be hassled again by my parents. Luke seems happy for me though. He says he likes Casper so it's no big deal as long as he will treat me right.

Eventually my friends get used to Casper's presence on my side that they don't get bothered with it anymore. We hang out everyday and at home we just texted or call when my parents are not around.

Tomorrow is our birthday, Luke and I. We decided not to have a big party and instead just camp out in our backyard. My parents seem okay with it even though i told them that Casper is coming. As long as i'm with some other friends they said they wouldn't mind.

"Yey! Happy birthday Luke, happy birthday Meg!" Our friends consisting of Rhian, Alex, Mike, Jake, Casper and us.

"Thanks guys. We just want a few friends to celebrate our getting old today" Luke told everyone laughing.

"So Meg, are you and Casper officially together now?" Rhian was asking me while we get the drinks in our kitchen leaving the boys outside eating barbecue and pizza.

"Not yet, but who knows maybe today." I smiled shyly at rhian. I was actually planning to say yes to Casper tonight.

"Yeee, so romantic. Don' t worry i'll try to distract the guys later." Rhian was giggling nonstop until we get back with the guys.

"What are you laughing at Rhian? Is it worth sharing with us?" Alex asked

"Oh it's nothing. Girls' talk only." I told Alex and laugh alongside Rhian.

"By the way, i invited a friend over if that's okay with you guys. " Alex told us suddenly.

"Sure dude, if he's a friend of yours then he's also a friend of ours." Luke answered.

"Can i borrow Meg for awhile? We will just walk a little over the edge of the forest." Casper said casually. He just came back from the house too after ordering more pizza.

"Sure sure go ahead i'll keep the guys on check." Rhian was smiling at us.

"Come on then Meg." Casper hold my hand while ushering me to walk forward.
