(Sorry for taking forever to update! But this chapter is longer than usual so I hope you like!)

"Ellie," Emerson's eyes sparkled blue and my butterflies erupted in my stomach as I stared into his eyes. "I love you."

I giggled being casted deeper and deeper into his spell. "You don't need to tell me five times a minute." I looked down at the hood of his car.

Just about every date we'd drive off somewhere around midnight and sit on the roof of his car. He made reality seem like a fairytale. He made my little girl dreams come true.

"Oh, but I want to." He pecked my lips sweetly and We remained on the hillside on the outskirts of town for a few hours. We had meaningless conversations. It was a show. He was just a show.

Suddenly everything around us started to turn black. "Emerson?" The sky went from clear to grey in a matter of seconds. The grass was no longer a summers green, but was erased by dirt and weeds. The car changed from red to black.

"Emerson!" I screamed his name repeatedly, but nothing seemed to change. The world was spinning faster than ever before. I shook Emerson as hard as I could still screaming out his name at the top of my lungs. He turned around with a devilish smile so inhuman I became nauseous. He pushed me off the car my head pounding and my eyes unable to concentrate. I felt numb and dizzy all a
at the same time. The world became a chaos as birds flied rampantly.

"Ellie," he walked around the car with a knife in his hand hoveringover my paralyzed body. I could no longer breathe. Everything was refusing to function. I could only lay there and watch. Screaming for help was useless, we were alone, not to mention I could no longer speak. "This ought to fun."

His other victims stood around us and watched. Their bloody clothing and dirt covered bodies are a haunting memory. Some held sorrow, others held anger, some distraught, some were just completely numb. There were a good ten of them when I first looked, but they multiplied with every second that passed.

He began stabbing my chest and stomach, basically any place his knife landed. I screamed out in pain, but I heard nothing. I tried fighting back, but my body didn't move.

I was powerless.

He was in complete control.

My body lifted up out of bed as beads of sweat rolled down my temple. My body was drenched in sweat and tears. I was scared half to death not understanding how I appeared in my room. I looked beside me and I was completely alone.

"Zain!" My breathing was irregular and I thought at any moment my heart was going to rip out of my chest. Zain after a few seconds rushed through the doorway with worry in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" He seemed slightly out of breathe and I could only stare at him for a moment. Terror still rang fresh in my ear and my chest still hurt as I felt the pain of being stabbed.

"How'd I get here?" My voice came out hoarse and child like. His shoulders fell and an almost unnoticeable smile appeared on his face.

"You passed out in the woods and I carried you back. You've been asleep for about twelve hours." He stood in front of the doorway not moving. I could see the struggle in his eyes of whether to stay put or come closer to me.

I nodded my head clearing my throat. I got out of bed and dragged my chair over to the window. I sat down and looked outside for a few moments as the room held nothing but bitter emotions hiding behind the silence.

"Why do you despise this chair in front of the window so much?" My voice was dry; laced with annoyance. I got sick of having to move the chair back over to the window everyday.
