I was in my English class. I was sitting there bored as hell. I sat in the back corner of the room. I over heard the popular girls Brittany and Amy talking about the Zain. I rolled my eyes at their stupidity.
The desk next to me was empty like it always was. I had a few minutes before class started so I pulled out my book and started reading. Everyone stopped talking as Zain walked into the room. I didn't notice I was in my own world captured by my book.
I was yanked out of book when he slammed his stuff on the desk next to me. He stared at me trying to figure me out. I glanced at him and rolled my eyes continuing to read my book.
He had on a hoodie and sagging jeans. His head was cleanly shaven. He had some facial hair. He was around 5'7 and he had a pretty slinder build. Some of his tattoos noticeable. I knew he had quite a bit of tattoos. He had deep brown eyes that almost sucked you in. Something about him was alluring.
I personally was immune to boys who think their all that. And that's exactly the vibe I got from him. I wanted nothing to do with him. It seemed like I was the only girl though.
He chuckled as he sat down. Everyone slowly went back to what they were doing. I continued to read my book quietly.
The bell rang loudly and I cursed under my breath. Mr. Ramos walked into the room with slight bags under his eyes looking exhausted wearing his normal suit and tie.
"Quiet! I have a bit of an headache, and I'm not in the mood to deal with your childish behavior." He stated strongly a deeply as he stood in front of the class very stern.
"Then why the hell did you become a teacher?" I asked in a smart ass tone under my breath. I was still reading my book barely listening to him.
Zain chuckled next to me. I barely acknowledged him still reading my book.
"Miss Franklin, do you think you could put away the book for once?" Mr. Ramos asked annoyed. I put my book in my bag underneath my desk looking at him. He nodded and continued to tell us about the plan for today, at least I think that's what he was talking about.
I could feel Zain staring at the side of my face. I continued to act like I was listening to the teacher.
"Alright, That's the plan for today." Mr. Ramos finished. "Miss Franklin, can I see you please?"
I got up from my desk and walked to Mr. Ramos' desk. The class was staring at me as he was passing out papers. He sat down at his desk after passing out the papers. "I'd like you to tutor Zain for me." He stated plainly.
"Why? I'm not the best student in your class." I asked him not sure why of all people he would ask me. I knew I was probably one of the top, but I really didn't want to tutor him.
"You are one of the top students, you have excellent grades, plus you seem to be the only person who isn't gawking at him every chance you get. I've seen his file and it's not the best. Will you tutor him?" The teacher explained to me almost begging me at the end. I nodded my head hesitating.
I walked back to my desk and Zain was sent up to talk to him. He came back with a smirk on his face. He sat down and looked at me. I looked back at him with a fake smile.
"So, where are you going to tutor me?" He asked me still retaining that stupid smirk.
"You can come over to my house after school today. Whatever works for you." I responded trying to make this is easy for him as possible.
