"Aww come on guys I was just playing." The guy said to Ethan and Grayson.
He slaps my back and puts his arms around me. My eyes plead for help as I stare at Ethan and Grayson.
"Fuck off Zack." Ethan hisses. Grayson steps forward and shoves Zack off me. I give a breath of relief.
Im grateful that they showed up. I didn't know how but I'm glad they were here.
Zack was shoved to the ground. Grayson's jaw was clenched ready to punch him but Ethan and I stepped in front of him. "Chill Gray." Ethan said.
Grayson nods and looks at me. "You alright?" He asks. I nod and Grayson looks back down to Zack.
"Touch her again and i'll kick your ass." He says.
Zack didn't look like he'd stand a chance. Sure he was about the same height but he was lanky while Grayson was buff.
"Lets go guys." Ethan says to us. We both nod and a take a glance back to Zack who had just got back up. He gave me a wink that sent chills up my spine.
I followed Ethan and Grayson back up the street to where Ethan's car was parked.
"Where'd you guys come from?" I ask as we get in.
Ethan answers my question. "Well we had just started walking back from the music store, because Steven scared the shit out of us again." He paused and I nod.
"Then as we were walking back to the car Gray saw you coming out of the snack bar with Zack and knew something was up."
He finished and Grayson nods quietly leaning his head on the window. "Well thanks." I say sweetly.
"You know I could've beat them up myself." I say sarcastically showing my muscle.
Ethan laughs as we start driving to my house.
The ride is silent. Up until we pull up to my house no one speaks. A light snow starts to fall as I step out of the car. I thank them and awkwardly walk up my driveway.
As I get to the door I wave to them and go inside.
"Hey where have you been?" A voice asks startling me. I turn to see Brandon out stretched on the couch messily eating a bag of chips.
"Nowhere."
Thankfully I make it to my room without another word from him.
I toss my bag onto my bed and flop beside it taking a deep breath.
Having an eight page english assignment due tomorrow I decided to get out my computer and work on it.

As a voice of New England's Protestant and Transcendental cultures in fruitful tension and of the spiritual anxieties unleashed by the Civil War (during which she wrote the great majority of her poems) and as an avatar of poetic modernism, Emily Dickinson now stands with Walt Whitman as one of America's two preeminent poets of the nineteenth century and perhaps of our whole literary tradition. It was around 9:30 when I ended my paper. Yawning I went downstairs to get something to eat.
Faint noise from the living room TV played as I opened the fridge.
