1.0 Christmas Lights

After the freaking out, I finally was calm and working on my computer.

I got an IM from one of my friends from first period.

Hey Hayden sorry for the late invite but a bunch of us are having a Christmas party tonight at mine

I quickly replied.

What time bro

7pm you coming?

Well see ;)

I made myself seem mysterious but really I had to ask my parents first.

I skipped down stairs to find my mom working on her laptop.

"Hey mom."

"Hmm."

"Can I go to a Christmas party tonight?" I asked grabbing an apple.

"Be home by 11 and take Brandon with you." She said not taking her eyes off the screen.

I love my brother, I really do but I kinda wanted to go without him but I guess it could work. "Thank youu." I say before going back upstairs.

"Brandon get ready were going to a Christmas party." I say in his doorway, then go to my own room to get ready.

Changing into a cropped dark red sweater, a black skater skirt and nude wedges I go to the bathroom where I brush my teeth, straighten my hair and do makeup.

It was 7:30 when I got done getting ready, I wanted to be fashionably late and the timing was perfect.

I knocked on Brandons door. "You ready?" The door flung open to reveal Brandon in black jeans and a red shirt.

"Dude why'd you copy me?" I say jokingly at our outfits. (Ha I was writing and I accidentally wrote outtits byee)

We both left in his Jeep and pulled up to Nathan's house.

The house was bright from red and green Christmas lights that hung on the walls and I was quick to find Ethan.

"Yo." I say standing beside him. Brandon went off to find some friends.

"Wassup." Ethan says. I laugh. "Dude. Im meeting Shawn." I say happily.

"When?" He asks. "January 20th in California!" I say.

"Woah dude." "I know, and I got two tickets so I can invite someone, to California with me for a week. Of course Moms going but yooo."

"Well I am free." Ethan says winking.

I playfully punch him in the arm. "No gross why would I want to take you." He puts a hand on his chest and acts offended.

"Nah I'm gonna think about it though, but it would probably be Abby." I say.

He nods.

The party just consisted of a bunch of teens talking, I'm pretty sure some were taking jello shots but other than that, It was pretty chill.

I talked to Ethan for about twenty more minutes then went to find Brandon. I walked from the living room to the dining room, looking for him and then I bumped into Grayson.
