(Grayson's POV)

I sat on the couch in front of Ethan. He had just told me everything about Hayden.

I was crying, I was a mess. Ethan sat beside of me and patted my back.

"Its gonna be okay Gray." He says.

I just cry. I was a bitch to her for 15 years, shit I'm falling hard.

I knocked on her door, Ethan by my side. I had a huge teddy bear in my hands that was the same height as me.

The door slowly opened to reveal Hayden's mom.

Her face lit up when she saw the bear.

"Shes gonna love it." Was all she said before letting us in.

I walked in the living room to find Hayden yelling at the tv. She was watching a basketball game and she had a blanket draped around her.

I was a little nervous  but I was happy to see her.

"Hayden." I said softly walking closer to the couch.

She turned her head to me. Her face tensed a little but softened.

"Hi." She finally said.

I sat beside her on the couch, Ethan beside me.

"I got this for you." I say showing her the bear.

She nods and smiles. "Thank you." She says. I could tell it was forced and she felt weird.

"Listen." She starts, pausing.

"Im sorry I didnt tell you, I didnt want anyone to worry about me. You don't need to feel sorry for me, no one does."

I stare at her. Not knowing what to say I just hug her, not wanting to let go ever.

All that can be heard is faint voices narrating the basketball game and the three of us breathing.

"My chemo starts tomorrow." Hayden said finally breaking the silence after a minute or two.

I take a deep breath and nod.

"We'll be there." Ethan says and I nod again.

"No, you guys don't have to." Hayden says.

Ethan cuts her off. "We're coming."

She nods and turns her attention to the tv.

I rest my head on her lap and my feet on Ethan who groans. Hayden giggles, causing me to smile.

"The warriors are over rated." Ethan says.

"ARE NOT." Hayden and I say at the same time. We all laugh and watch the game.

"Hey are you guys hungry." Hayden's mom asks.

"Yes m'am." Ethan basically yells.
