"I wish I had a storm warning, I wish I had a sign" Sadie and I sang out, when we finally got to Phil and Kay's place, the other Robertson children were there, Reed and Cole were sitting on the step talking to Phil and Kay

"Hey" Sadie said as she got out of the car

"Hey Sadie" Kay said giving her a hug

"Hi miss Kay" I said giving her a big hug

"Oh Katelyn so good to see you" she said giving me a big hug, we waited a couple of minutes before John Luke and little Willie finally showed up

"Hey what took you boys so long" miss Kay asked

"I had to make some phone calls" John Luke said the sound of anger strongly in his voice, you could tell he had just spent time arguing with probably Emily on the phone, his face was red probably from yelling, and his voice had an edge of faint anger in it.

" well you yuppies ready to do some work" Phil asked while sipping on his tea

"I guess so" cole said typing away on his phone

"That wasn't a question Coleman" Phil said giving him a look, cole didn't pick up on it he was to busy typing away on his phone

"You boys can get started with moving the boats and decoys" Phil said pointing in the direction of stuff

" and you girls can get rid of all the dead tress and things from the field" Phil said looking at Sadie and I

" yes sir" we said at the same time, we got the atv and made our way to the field

"So beau said he would talk to Tate" Sadie said picking up the rakes, gloves and shovels from the back of the Atv

"He doesn't have to, Tate wasn't really my type any ways" I said grabbing the garbage bags, Sadie shot me a look of confusion

"What do you mean? I thought you liked him" she said following after me

" I did but it's just he screwed things up the first time so what says he won't do it again" I said turning around and facing her, she looked shocked and unhappy at the same time

"I guess your right but you should give him a second chance, come on please for me" she said giving me the puppy eyes

" fine only because your my best friend" I said rolling my eyes and walking away, when I turned around I came face to face with the one person I didn't want to see

" oops sorry" John Luke said smiling then walking away, I watched him walk away the way he smiled at me made me feel butterflies in my stomach, a slight blush rushed to me cheeks, wait stop Katelyn you can't think this he's your best friends older brother even though he's sweet, kind, funny, hot and perfect he has a girlfriend who he loves a lot, plus I highly don't think he likes you the same way, I stood there watching him work with the others before moving on to me task
