When we finally finished cleaning out the lot where the forth of July party would be it was lunch time

"Eat up there's plenty here for y'all" miss Kay said pulling apart the fresh buns she had made

" don't mind if I do" reed said grabbing a 2 big pieces of fried chicken

"Hey lady's first" Sadie said pushing him out of the way

" no I am older so oldest first" reed said pushing back

"Hey that's enough, reed let the girls go first" miss Kay said rolling her eyes and handing me a plate and fork

"Thank you miss Kay" I said

" oh your welcome sweet heart" she said smiling, I grab a piece of chicken, mashed potatoes and a fresh home made bun

Sadie and I sat down at the table, reed and cole followed suit

"Hey where's John Luke and little will" miss Kay asked looking out the kitchen window

"John Luke had to go do something so will went with him" cole said with food in his mouth

"Oh what a shame I made all this food for nothing then" miss Kay said looking at all the food on the counter

"I'll have seconds" Phil said getting up from his recliner and walking to the kitchen to fill his plate

"You kids better eat more" miss Kay said giving us the look of if we don't eat more we could hurt

"Yes miss Kay" we all said at once, we finished out lunch, then said our good byes before we left, Sadie and I got in my car and off to the mall we were

"Man that was a lot of work" Sadie said climbing in to my car

"You could say that again" I said with a loud sigh, we had moved dead trees, raked all the dead leaves out of the way, while the boys removed all the stumps and bigger things we couldn't do

"Well now for some shopping" Sadie said typing away on her phone, odds are good she was texting Beau

"Yup yup" I said pulling out onto the free way

"So Beau talked to Tate and he said he's very sorry and would like to give it a second chance" Sadie said look at her phone, I turned my head and sighed softly

"Um I don't know if I want to try it again" I said softly, while looking straight ahead so I wouldn't catch her reaction

"What why not" she said with a confused expression on her face

"I don't know, I think if he didn't once already what is stopping him from doing it again" I said

"Um... Ok I'll text Beau and tell him to forget it" she said with a huff and rolling her eyes, I concentrated on the road while she typed away on her phone, it was silent in the car for a couple minutes before she said something

"So what are you looking for in a guy then" Sadie asked

"Someone who's kind, funny, cute, loves me for me, wants to hang out with me" I said with a smile on my face, I couldn't help but think about John Luke when I said this stuff, he was all I was looking for in a guy

"Humm" she said when she did this I knew she was in deep thought

"Oh my you have something on your mind" I said laughing

"Haha you know me so well, I am just trying to think of what guy I could set you up with" she said pulling out her phone and going through her contacts

" no way I am going with any of the guys on your phone" I said shaking my head and laughing

"Come on" she said I shook my head, we talked all the way to the mall
