Chapter 22

I watched as the sun gleamed through my bedroom window, I watched the birds fly past, I rolled over finding a messy haired John Luke, we hadn't had sex or anything like that, after church Hunter and I chatted with everyone for a little bit before coming back to my house, he stayed for a couple minutes before leaving, then about a half hour later John Luke texted me saying he was on his way over, so when he arrived we just basically came up with a plan for next Saturday night, I remember I was getting sleepy and we made our way up stairs to my room and fell a sleep watching crazy stupid love.

I rolled over and placed my head against his chest, I listened to him breath, it was so peaceful and calm I could just lay here for ever, I turned my head and placed my lips against his, waking him up

"Umm, good morning" he said groaning, his voice was groogy and yet so deep

"Morning" I said sitting up, I was still in the same cloths as yesterday, I slowly made my way to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and my hair, when I came out John Luke was fast asleep again, so I did the first thing that came to my mind, I tickled him

"Stop" he said laughing

"I will only stop if you get up" I said

"I'm up I'm up" he said sitting up and picking me up and placing me on his lap, I ran my hands through his hair and placed my lips against his, the sound of the door bell pulled us apart suddenly

"Who could be here soo early" I said getting up and walking over to the window to try and see a car, but I couldn't see cause our veranda covered most of the driveway

"Who's here" John Luke asked getting up and walking over

"I don't know, just wait I'll check the cameras" I said walking over and grabbing the TV remote and flicking to the security cameras channel, it was the one person I didn't want here at this moment in time

"What's she doing here" John Luke asked with a shocked expression on his face

"I don't know maybe looking for you" I said putting the remote down and sitting on the ottoman at the end of my bed

"What are we going to do" he asked sitting down next to me

"Your going to stay up here until she leaves, and I'll go down stairs and talk with her to see what's up, but first I must change into pjs so she thinks I just got up" I said getting up and walking into my closet and changing into a concert tee and some spandex shorts, then made my way down stairs and opened the door

"Hey" I said opening the front door

"Hey can I come in" Sadie asked

" ya sure" I said gesturing for her to come in, she came in and made her way towards the sofa in the living room

"What's up" I said making my way towards her

"John Luke's gone, he came home after church then left, when I got up this morning he wasn't there, I'm starting to think he's doing something bad" she said sounding worried

"He can't be that far, don't worry, are your parents worried" I asked sitting in the chair across from her

"No they said he would be back and that he was staying at friends house, but they've been acting strange ever since forth of July" she said shaking her head, I felt my heart come up to throat at the thought of her just mentioning that

"See you have nothing to worry about" I said smiling and laughing a little

"Ya I guess, soo what did you do last night" she asked

"well Hunter and I came home, he stayed for a couple minutes then broody came over and we watched some foot ball, then he left and I took a long bubble bath" I said half lying half telling the truth

"Aw sounds sweet, you have to introduce me to Broody soon, he sounds perfect" she said

"Ya he's nice" I said smiling, I couldn't stop thinking about John Luke, about how sweet he looked sleeping this morning, he's hair all messed up, it made him look amazing

"So what are your plans for today" Sadie asked snapping me back to reality

"I'm just going to clean up probably, my parents are coming home for the weekend, they want to wash cloths and see me before they leave again, what about you" I said

"Going fishing at miss Kay and papaw Phil's, then movie date with Beau tonight" she said

"Sounds amazing" I said leaning forward and looking up at the stairs, John Luke was peaking through the crack of my bedroom door

"Ya it should be fun, I should go thou I have lots to do, I'll see you tomorrow" she said getting up

"Ya totally" I said following her out to the foyer and opening the front door for her

"see ya, say hi to your parents for me" she said walking down the steps, I shut the door behind her then leaned against it making a loud groan

"Well that wasn't tuff at all" John Luke said walking down the stairs

"haha you could say that again" I said laughing and slidding down the door and sitting on the floor

"so we still on for movie tonight" John Luke asked sitting down next to me

"Ya sure what time " I said leaning my head on his shoulder

"Say around 7 I'll pick you up" he said

"Ok sounds perfect" I said rubbing my temples

"I should probably go" he said standing up then helping me up

"Ok well I'll see ya tonight" I said pecking him on the cheek

"Okay see ya later" he said pulling away and opening the front door

And closing it behind him, I stood there for a couple minutes, then made my way up stairs to shower and maybe take a little nap...
