Cass and Phillip let the other two listen to the recording.

"Man, this is not good." Reign said.

"The mannequin that we saw, her name was Lucy. This recording explains everything!" Cass explained.

"This place is really a psycho shack." Mal said.

It was true. Everything that they had encountered in the house was messed up. This house resembled those haunted houses in the fun fairs. Everything in it was scary, crazy, and all over the place.

While the group was discussing and explaining things to each other, Alice's diary fell out of Mal's bag. It opened on another diary entry. It was one that these people have not seen before.

"Dear diary,
Alice here. Today, it was scary. I saw this mannequin just outside my window. It was smiling and waving at me. It seemed friendly. My parents told me not to talk to strangers. They could be dangerous. She seems alright. She doesn't look like a killer at all. I might go with her. That is all for now."

"Clearly this kid did not know anything about strangers. I mean, if I were her I would not go near the mannequin. First of all, I dont know her, and secondly, she is a freaking mannequin. Like would you go near something that is not supposed to be alive?!" Phillip said. He defensively announced this mainly because of his fears with dolls.

"We need to understand that this girl was just a kid, Phillip." Cass said.

All of a sudden, Mal collapsed. She fainted.

Reign tried to shake her or wake her up.
He checked for any signs of wounds or any part that could have hurt her.

Everyone was crowded around Mal. They checked her pulse, it was normal.

The three looked at each other. No, this was not possible at all. Something must have happened.

"Mal, can you hear me?" Reign asked. He knew she had a black out but he wanted to believe she was just asleep. Maybe fatigue caused her to be like this. "You need to wake up." As if Mal heard him, her eyes twitch. Then, her body rolled and shaked. She looked like she was having a seizure. "Mal! Mal! Relax."
At one point, she stopped moving. She was also not breathing. Her body laid on the cold floor, it was almost lifeless. "Come on, Mal. Don't leave me. I-I-I love you."

Cass and Phillip were surprised. Reign fell inlove with this weird potato.

"BASEMENT." Mal awoke and screamed. It scared everybody. It was as if Mal was in this trance.

"You scared me, Mal. Don't do that again!" He opened his arms and hugged Mal really tight.

"It was a dream. I was in this dark room. It had one bulb and everything was dusty. There was also a flight of stairs, on the end was a door. I tried getting myself out of there but it was locked. Another weird thing was, I was not alone in the room. There was someone in there with me. She was helpless and scared.
She was muttering the same word over and over again. 'Basement, basement, basement.' Then, the last thing I remember is that I woke up here." Mal explained. It was one situation she has never been in.

"Could this be a sign?" Cass said while pacing around. She sighed. She was tired of this house. It had a lot of secrets and mysteries yet to be discovered. Because of exhaustion, she lied down. She wanted to believe that she was in the house for so long that police are looking for her. Oh how she missed everyone outside.

"Guys, you know, I am tired of all of this. I just want to go home. Ok? Let's get this over with. I say, we check what is in that basement. Either we die stuck in here or we die trying." Phillip spoke.

They all agreed they were tired. So, they all stood up and went to the basement.
