"Open you stupid door." Reign screamed with anger. The group was in front of the basement door. For some reason, the door wouldn't budge.
"Try kicking it!" Cass said.
Reign let out a loud grunt and kick the door with all his might. "It won't work."
"Stand back." Phillip warned. He had a wooden chair in his hands. He was planning to hit the door.
"I think that would work." Mal replied.
Phillip hit the door with the chair. Suddenly, the chair broke into a billion twigs. The door was strong enough to withstand the force of a piece of wooden furniture.
"What in the world?!" Phillip said in shock.
The door did not open.
"Sure everything in this house is old and nearly broken but this door is as strong as steel." Phillip said with anger.
Everyone gave up and did not try anymore.
Mal got angry. "Every single freaking door in this house opens. Why won't this open?! OPEN ALREADY, YA STUPID DOOR." Mal screamed at the top of her lungs. She hit the door with her fist once.
Still, it would not open.
"It's okay, Mal. Calm down. I'm sure we will be able to open it sooner or later." Cass comforted.
Everyone sat down and gave up. They were exhausted. "This will not work" they all thought.
Suddenly, as if wind blew it, the door opened. No one and nothing pushed it open.
"WHAT THE. GUYS. EITHER WE ARE THE WEAKEST HUMANS IN THE WORLD THAT WIND EASILY BLEW IT OR THIS THING IS POSSESSED OR SOMETHING." Reign exclaimed.
The feeling of shock came over all the teenagers. Gotta admit, this was one crazy event.
Cass took a step forward. She was one of the bravest people the teenagers knew. "I'm going in. It is now or never!" She said.
As she walked down the stairs leading to the basement, she heard the wood creak. This place has not been entered in years. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, there were cockroaches everywhere, and there were even some maggots. "Gross" Cass muttered. She saw a box from the corner of the room. It was shiny and big. "What is that?" She reached for the lid and she felt arms around her neck. She could not breathe. She was fighting for her life. She turned around to see her killer.
"What you doing?" He supposedly killer asked. It was Phillip. He came down with her in the basement without her knowing.
"One day, you are going to kill me because of shock." Cass told Phillip.
"Geez, sorry. I thought you could take a joke." Phillip said to her.
"Take a joke? Phillip. You do know we are in the worse possible scenerio ever. We are stuck in a haunted house with some kind of ghost. And a joke is all you can think about?! Ugh. I should have never followed you in here!" Cass said on the top her lungs. Suddenly, she started wheezing. She couldn't breathe and do anything. Then, she collapsed. She stopped breathing.
