"Goodmorning Rae." Michael greeted.
"Morning." I said.

We're at the kitchen right now for breakfast. I checked Luke's room but he was still asleep.

"How was yesterday?" Michael asked me. They got home late yesterday, I was already asleep. I haven't tell him anything yet.

"It was great!" I said. Then I told everything happened in detail.

"So what's the deal now?" He asked me.

"I answered him yes. The end." I spoke.

"Ohh" then he remained silent for a minute and he begin speaking again.
"Congrats. I'm happy for you and Luke." He told me and patted my head before leaving.

Anyways, I made a toast for Luke and the others since they will wake up soon. As i'm done I went upstairs again entering Luke's room.

He is not awake yet so I sneakily walked towards his bed and sat.

I studied Luke's face, gosh. He looks like an angel when he's sleeping. I saw him flinched maybe i've woken him up. I just continued to stare at him until I saw his bright eyes.

He smiled at me and grabbed me by my waist making me lose my balance. I was now laying beside him while he is hugging me.

"Good morning babe." He whispers behind my ears. I could feel his breath as he spoke sending me some butterflies.

"Goodmorning. Did you have a good sleep?" I asked him. He hugged me much more tight I could now really feel the warmth on his breath.

"Surely indeed. But what's more good is waking up and the first person I saw is you." Luke said. I can feel myself blush. I've never felt like so special. Now I know how it feels.

"I made breakfast for you." I told him.
"But I'm too lazy to get up." He pouted.
"Na ah, time to get up." I stood up to dragged him out of the bed.

"Wha-" I pulled his feet before he could protest. He was struggling it to get out of my grip.

"Okay okay I will get up." He said. Then he hold my hand and lead me downstairs. I saw Ashton and Calum at the lounge room.

"Hi Rae and Luke!" Calum greeted us.
"Hiiii"

"Heyaaaa! Morning what're you up ta?" Ashton asked with his signature smile.

"My girlfriend made me a breakfast." Luke pointed at me while he replied. Ashton eyes widen.

"G-girlfriend?" He asked and letting out a laugh like we were telling a joke.

"Yeah." He stopped laughing and went serious.

"How and when did it happen?" His voice was shaking. I don't know but it feels like he is not well.

"Yesterday." I said trying to give a vibe.

"Aww, congrats man!!!" Calum said joyfully.
"I bet you both would make a good couple." Ashton smiled at me.

"Thanks!"

Then Luke and I continued our way towards the kitchen.

ASHTON'S POV

Why am I feeling like this? I should've make a move even before maybe I could have gotten her.

I am so dumb. It's already too late now.

I just stood there as I process my thoughts.

"Ashton? Ashton? Hey. You alright bud?" Calum asked. I ignored him and I began taking footsteps going upstairs. I locked myself inside my room. I don't want to talk right now.

I sat on the edge of my bed and clenched my fist. I was trying to fight back the tears that threaten to fall but I failed. Well, crying is not a sign of weakness. I don't believe that a man should not cry. Crying makes you human. We all have feelings.

I think about Rae and Luke. Everyday will gonna be worse as I will always see a sight of them interacting and reciprocating affection, regretting why I haven't done anything in the past, and having thoughts like 'that should be me'.

I won't get in the way. I know Rae is happy with Luke. Luke is my friend so I should trust him that he won't hurt her. I'll try to be happy for both of them even if it kills me inside.

CALUM'S POV

"Hey mate."

"What?" Michael asked coldly.
"Do you think Ashton will be okay?"
"I hope so." He replied. Michael was having a deep thought right now. I couldn't comprehend what his face were saying. It was clearly unreadable.

"Calum, I need to talk to you."

"Talk about what?" Well he's creeping me out right now but I think he needs to tell me something important right now.
