Kortnii's POV

I woke up around six in the morning and quietly untangled myself from Aiden. I was careful not to knock anything down and shuffled out of his room and into mine. Jessica was asleep on her bed, so I grabbed the laptop and sneaked downstairs into the livingroom.

"What are you doing up so early Kortnii?" Aunt Helena asked, scaring the shit out of me. I sat the laptop down and walked over and hugged her. "I couldn't sleep" I lied. She patted the seat next to her on the couch and I sat down.

"So your mother told me you went to see My Chemical Romance"

"Yes, I had fun"

"She also told me that they came over to the house"

I nodded, "Yeah, they wanted to see my dog and Jaguar."

"I also saw you and Aiden in bed."

My heart stopped beating, I just sat there with a frozen look of shock plastered on my face. "I-I can explain" I stumbled on my words. 'No need" She said, patting my shoulder, "I won't tell your mum as long as I don't see anymore that that." I nodded my head, hoping she wouldn't go into further detail.

But of course to my horror, she did, "No sex while I'm staying in this house. I hope you wait until marriage I know I can't stop you two from doing that but I'll try." I winced at those words. I wasn't that stupid, do people really think I was going to have sex while my parents were home? And nevertheless in my own house!?

"Are you ready for the wedding?" She said, changing the subject.

"Of course I helped pick out mom's dress! " 

"We are all going shopping for you and your friend's dress."

"Did they find out where mom's is?"

"Yes they're getting a fitting done later today."

We started talking about how mom's wedding was planned, going into immense details, what we liked about it and what we hated. Finally it was about six forty-five when Jessica came down, fully dressed, school bag in hand. "Okay I'm getting breakfast Kort can I borrow your Jaguar?" 

My eyes went wide in shock. Did she seriously just ask me that? I know I've only had it for a few days but I mean it's like my baby! "No!" I nearly shouted, "I just got it! Plus, you don't even have your license! Go get Vince to take you!" I immediately regretted those last few words.

I'm in deep shit. 

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called Vince.

"Sup Kort?"

"You're taking Jessica to school"

"Um okay?"

I then whispered, "She's trying to get with you so be alert!"

He chuckled, "Don't worry about it Kort, I can deal with her."

A sigh of relief escaped my lips as we said our goodbyes and hung up. Jessica waited happily, staring hard at me. "So?" she said. "He is taking you." I replied in a careless tone. She squealed with delight and ran out of the house. I rested my head on my hand. What the fuck did I just do?

"What was that all about?" Aunt Helena asked. I totally forgot she was there. "She has a crush on Vince, Mrs. Shirley's son and he is still trying to get over Megan." She sighed, Aunt Helena was My mother's sister and Megan was my cousin from my dad's side, but she loved her as if they were blood related.

"After the past few years he hasn't let go?" I shook my head slightly, "He had an epiphany two nights ago, he is slowly recovering. I gave him the card to my counselor and he has been going there." She smiled and said, "Well, we must get ready. We have a long day ahead of us!"
