Finally, I was on a flight to LA without Mackenzie. Although I was pretty bummed that she missed the flight and the attendants wouldn't let her come on, it would also give me over five hours to get our stuff in the apartment and do something special for her. Especially since she's gonna be traveling all day, I just want her to relax and enjoy the rest of her night once she gets there.

I was sitting in the window seat with one other person. I think the boy was around my age, maybe 17 or 18 not really sure. I had my laptop open on final cut pro and stuck my headphones in; I was editing a vlog that I'm uploading tomorrow morning. Every so often, the boy kept glancing at me and then back starring at the seat in front of him. I didn't mind that he was watching me, but there was something about him that he seemed curious about. He had dark brown shaggy hair, black gauges in and he was wearing a teal zip up hooding with a black t-shirt underneath. He was wearing dark jeans with teal vans on.

I looked back at my screen and then continued to edit. All of a sudden someone tapped my shoulder and I pulled my headphones out of my ears gazing up and greeted by the boy who had been starring at me before. He was now in the seat next to me.

"Can I help you?" I asked trying to not sound rude as possible.

"Y-you're Connor Franta." the boy stuttered. I smiled.

"You know who I am?"

"Of course! You're fucking amazing. I mean, amazing. I watch all your videos. You're really inspiring." he told me.

"Well, thank you."

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Calvin." I smiled shyly and went back to editing my video. I guess that was his hint of I really didn't want to talk to him anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an asshole. I just didn't want to be bothered right now. Calvin stood up walking back to his other seat. Before he sat down, he came right back and sat in the same seat.

"I'm sorry, It's just that you're Connor, and I can't believe you're sitting on the same plane as me." Calvin said trying to find words to say. Flattering? I don't really know. I didn't know why or what he was doing but maybe this is a perk of being You Tube famous.

I couldn't really find words to say myself so I trusted my guts that I wouldn't say anything stupid.

"Starstruck?" I said laughing a bit.

"A little bit. I just can't believe I'm sitting next to the guy who saved my life." Wait, did I just hear him correctly.

"I saved your life?" I asked him curiously. He nodded. Calvin looked down at his lap before returning a small smile back to me.

"You remember your interview with Ricardo over a year ago? Well I used to live in Minnesota just like you. During that time I had just developed a depression problem myself. I had watched your videos before, and I had been a fan of yours from the beginning. When you were going through that tough time trying to find yourself and thinking you were gay, and just everything you were going through, I was going through the same. You see, I had just came out to my parents a week after all of that had been going on for you. Sadly, they didn't take it to well. I was beaten, kicked out of the house and I lost all my friends. My boyfriend was the only one there for me. We lived in a little old apartment and we could barley keep up with what was going on. Every day I'd get text messages from random numbers saying they were going to kill me, or saying rude things like "gays should die" or that I should die. They told me to kill myself and they said I wasn't wanted. I couldn't believe people would say that about me. I tried to brush it off but it just kept getting worse. Random phone calls in the night, fake facebooks of me being made trying to make fun of me. People were photo shopping pictures of me sucking dick. It all became too much for me and I began to cut, and began to starve myself.
