Alison's POV
"I can't believe you. You didn't need to do all that just for me! Look where it got you." I groaned in frustration.
"You obviously didn't even appreciate it so I won't bother going through that for you ever again." Adrian spat out in disgust before slamming the door behind him.
11 hours before:
"Maddy, what happened?" I asked, even though I didn't want to know the answer.
"How am I supposed to know? I was the one who got woken up at 2:00 in the morning to the police at our door! Ask your perfect little boyfriend." She sneered in reply, heading back upstairs to her room before she slammed her door shut.
I didn't have time to deal with her right now, not when Adrian just got arrested. I couldn't just around doing nothing, waiting for him to come back. Being the stubborn bitch I was I decided to drive to the police station.
"I'm here to see Adrian Black." I said in a serious tone, prepared not to take no for an answer.
"Right this way miss." The police officer moved aside guiding me to his cell.
I stood in front of his cell in disappointment. Deep down I still had hope, that maybe they took the wrong Adrian. Or maybe it was just some huge understanding. But when I saw him in his cell with tired eyes and messy hair I knew there was no hope left. He was guilty and we all knew it.
"Alison?" Adrian asked, obviously shocked to see me here.
I shook my head getting straight to the point.
"What the fuck did you do to get yourself in here?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"I-I wasn't-This wasn't." He stuttered
"Tell me right now or I'm leaving!" I demanded.
"I stole some money! Okay? There, I said it. Are you happy now?" Adrian yelled.
My head was spinning. There was no way that Adrian Black, my Adrian could steal.
"What?" I asked softly.
He looked down at his shoes and sighed in defeat. "If you're here to lecture me please do us both a favour and just leave."
As much as I wanted to do that, I knew it wasn't the time. It looked like Adrian was going through a lot right now and I needed to be there for him.
Without another word, I payed his bail and waited in my car for him. The left door swung right open and I started the car, driving without a sound. The silence was killing me, and I could tell Adrian was uncomfortable as well.
"Alison, please say something. Anything." Adrian pleaded, cutting of the silence.
"I'm really not in the mood." I said with a sigh.
Adrian sensed that I wasn't in the mood to talk and I silently thanked him for that. So many thoughts were rushing through my head and I couldn't think straight.
Opening my front door, I threw my keys on the counter before beginning to walk up the stairs when he stopped me by grabbing my wrist and planting his lips on mine.
Minutes had passed when I finally came to my senses and pulled away.
