love

noun

1. an intense feeling of deep affection.

she keeps forgetting that it is the fourteenth of February


(she likes the way the alliteration rolls off of her tongue but

then again

writers and poets are strange  that way)

but perhaps that's because she's never known love

in its deepest sense

agape


yes, eros

is the love celebrated

on this day,

it's said that the day in which love is celebrated, is named after a martyr---Saint Valentine---perhaps a priest---gave his life for the sake of love.
