"No matter how far away we are from one another, we remain connected."
- Noise Marie
transcend the distance, let the yarn guide you through the twisting labyrinth---we'll meet again in our dreams.
connected through red-thread strings of fate, tied around frail wrists and tangled in knots in tremulous hearts, crossing the distance every step away from you to me
wherever you are
wherever your heart may be
our hearts will always and will beat as one
the physical distance
(miles kilometers meters inches seconds days hours months years)
will never sever the threads (ties) that bind us from a spool of vermilion, cinnabar spice dyed yarn, a covenant of blood, eternally weaving a tapestry past, present, future---
(bridging the gap)
when our hearts are so close
when you leave
when you are so far away
(although i want you to stay)
i'll be right here, waiting
right here, until you return
home
no matter how long it takes
how many miles away our hearts will be
you'll always be kept in my thoughts
a siren song in your dreams,
luring you home.
(a treacherous voice whispers,
where you belong.)
