isn't it strangethat scientifically, there is no such thing as cold?
it is merely
(pfft, merely, as if the flippant dismissal of its severity would reduce its glacial bite)
the absence (the lack of) heat
the thought does not make her any warmer.
how unfortunate.
(a mere concept, such as the absence of light is darkness---yet it can turn lips blue and turn your veins to ice, violent tremors shaking your form.)
