She holds back the tears
(Raging water against the dam)
Though she's shaking
(Hide all your fears)
She's BREAKING
From the inside OUT
Drops escape
From watery eyes
And there's no more LIES
Facade broken
Happiness no more
She's choking and sobbing
Shattered from her C O R E
Nobody asked
She always hid behind her M A S K
Constantly cheerful
Never tearful
Nobody could ever tell
(She hid behind her shell)
Until she shattered into a million pieces
And they had to put her together again
