Champions League was on tonight, Dortmund was going to face Manchester United at Signal Idun Park for another round of the group stages. It was also the first time, Carole was going to a match as supposedly Marco's Reus girlfriend. These couple of days had been chaotic for both, they were on the cover of every magazine in Germany and there were also a few articles about them in the international media. Carole and Marco didn't like it, but they also knew that them talking about their relationship was much better then talking about Marco's black eye, which had almost fainted.
Although they had been out of a little privacy these couple of days, not everything had been bad. Since that eventful night, Carole and Marco started talking and acting more like friends. It was the first time they were like this and both had already admitted it was much enjoyable.
" I know your not use to it, you usually work behind the cameras but it isn't that bad. Plus, you have Marco to protect you if everything goes wrong." Cathy commented as both waited on the line to get a beer. Cathy had came up a little bit earlier to the stadium in order to talk with her friends about the events that had happened in the beginning of the week.
Carole eyed her friend, " What's that suppose to mean?"
Cathy rolled her eyes and shrugged, " I'm Mats wife, Caro. He told me the way Marco took care of you that night. I think the guys weren't that crazy after all."
" They are crazy, like you are." Carole groaned, she didn't those rumors in BVB's and National team dressing room. " Marco was nice and he help me a lot, but that still doesn't say that me and him are in love."
Cathy chuckled, " Well, according to the papers and from Marco himself, your his girlfriend."
"You know why we did that! Ugh, isn't anyone going to understand one day that me and him are not going to end up together?" Carole asked, she was getting a bit tired of those same comments.
" Ok, fine. Don't need to go full tiger. Anyway, how are you dealing with all of this?" Cathy changed the question and stopped with the teasing.
She sighed, " The only plus I can see from all of this is the ending of my discussions with Marco. We just talked in a friendly way now, which is surprisingly nice."
"Finally!" Cathy said excited, "What took you so long?"

Marco was getting dress up to the match, he was excited to finally be playing again in the Champions league but he was also happy to know that on the stands Carole was there. She was always there, sure, but this time Marco felt it was different. This time he felt that things had changed...and strangly for good. He was very happy without not arguing anymore with her, she was cool to be around.
"Where's your head at?" Mats asked casually. He was also dressing up and his locker was right next to Marco's.
Marco shrugged. " Nothing special, just about what coach said to us."
Mats chuckled, " You sometimes forget one important point, I know you too well. You weren't thinking about the match. You were thinking about other things and I can already guested what is it."
"So, what is it then, smart guy?" Marco challenged him.
" The obvious of course, Carole Lytton Wolf." Mats replied, grinning. Even a guy that wasn't a genius could figure that out.

The match started, Dortmund began very well, pressuring the opponent constantly. They were dominating the match but still they hadn't have any actual changes to score. When the first part ended, the match was still 0-0. Carole sighed frustrated, she had seen to many matches like this and she knew Dortmund had to do much better, because if not Manchester United was going to score one way or another.
