Germany's match against Poland was tomorrow and Carole couldn't be happier. She was finally going to see Marco again. After two weeks, Carole was going to be able to see in person his handsome face. She missed him so much over these two weeks, she missed his kisses, hugs, remarks, silliness, his constant habit of eating a lot of lasagnas. She missed everything about him. Everything. He had turned her world upside down and changed it all in a space of a month and half, but everything change for the better. She didn't remember being so happy like this past weeks. Carole felt more happier and loved then ever, and all thanks to him, all thanks to Marco.
Her thoughts however where interrupted by her mother, " They are going to do a check up in our blood before we donate. It's the usual pressure."
Carole nodded a bit annoyed it was the third time her mother had said that since they had gotten in the car to go to the hospital. It was a tradition that started along time ago in their family because of her mother, who loved to help people wether they were poor or not. Donations of blood were always needed and sometimes it even helped saved lives. Today was the day for fulfilling their annual tradition.
Lena sighed, " Mom, we are twenty five not six. Plus we do this since we were kids, we know how this works."
Her mother turned to face them, smiling lightly. " I know, I know. I just can't help myself not saying it....for me you both are still my little princesses."
Albert chuckled, he knew the wife he had and for him it was exactly the same although he tried not to show that many times. Not long after they got to the hospital. Albert parked the car and he, his wife and the twins made their way inside into a especial wing where the blood donations were maid. As soon as they got there, Franz, the doctor in charge of the blood donations and also a friend of Albert's came to greet them. First he shook Albert's hand and then he greeted the rest of the family. " It's so good to see that some traditions keep intact through the years. It's very good seeing you all."
"You as well," Albert replied in the name of the family.
Franz didn't waste more time with small talk and went straight to the point. He knew they already knew how the blood donations worked but still for him it still continue to be right explaining what they were going to do in order for them to give the blood donation. " So, like the last time, we are first going to make some blood check ups and then if everything comes out fine, which I'm sure it will, you can donate."
They all nodded and then Carole asked politely, " Dr. Franz this is going to be quick like last year? I have a important meeting in two hours."
Dr. Franz smiled, " Usually it's quick and today isn't going to change. The hospital isn't full so things are working quite fast, Carole. You won't be late for your meeting."
Doing the check ups didn't take long like Dr. Franz had said, what only left before they could start donating was the results, which weren't going to take much longer either. Carole and Albert use the time they have until the results come up to talk about issues from Wolff Management while her mom was talking with the nurses and Lena was liking pictures and stalking persons on Instagram. Five minutes later, Dr. Franz came into the waiting room, he had a bunch of papers in his hand. He took his eyes from them and said, " As predicted everything is fine. Now we can start donating blood. The adults of the family can go first."
Lena groaned, muttering. " I'm an adult too." Carole laughed lightly, her twin sister always hated being called a kid, always had even when she was actually a kid.
Their parents got up, also laughing a little with Lena's reaction. They went with the nurses, Lena got up as well and went to the cafeteria to grab something to eat after the blood donation, she didn't want to faint like the last time. Dr. Franz on the other way, stood still in his place and waited until Lena was out of ear range to talk with Carole. " I would like to speak with you for a few minutes in my office, Carole. If you don't mind of course."
