Just think you're going to see him. Just think that then I worry about telling him about the pregnancy, Carole thought as she got out of the airplane.
It was exactly 4 pm when Carole and her dad arrived in Frankfurt. The match was going to start in a couple of hours, which gave Carole a little bit of time to see Marco or not, it all depended on the hours the national team bus was going to leave the hotel.
However, Carole was not thinking the slightest about the match or about the work she still needed to do when she got back to Dortmund. She was worried about something else, she was worried about her pregnancy and how to tell Marco about it. She had no clue how she was going to tell him one of the most important things in life. How? Will he even like it or not?
She sighed once more, this was all very stressing which she couldn't be since it wasn't very healthy to the baby. Carole needed to calm herself down.
"Honey, are you ok?" Her dad asked worried as he looked at her. They were both on the line to get a taxi.
Carole took a small breath, smiled lightly, giving her best 'good look' to her dad. " Yes, dad. Everything is ok."
" You sure, honey? I know you and you usually aren't this distracted with what's happening around you." Albert remarked, still not very convince with Carole's reply. He knew his daughter well, something was right but he also couldn't obligate her to tell him what it was. He was going to have to wait for her to confide in him.
" Dad, I'm fine. I was just distracted it was nothing more." Carole tried to reassure him as they finally got into the taxi.
He got in as well as Carole, immediately he put his seatbelt and gave the taxi driver the address. Then he looked to his daughter and said, " Sweetie, I know you got something in your mind. You don't need to tell me what, but I'm your dad and I know you. If you want you can talk about it with me...whenever and if you decide to tell me what it is."
Carole smiled lightly. Damn her dad knew her very well, " Thanks, daddy."

After passing through a bunch of reporters, Carole got in the hotel where the national team was. Her dad stood behind giving the reporters some interviews, which they didn't complain although she knew some wanted to talk with her about the confirmation of her romance with Reus. Well, it was a fake confirmation since they still hadn't talked everything through.
The hotel lobby was very crowded like outside, however, the people inside all worked for the hotel or for DFB. Most of the DFB staff team was finishing packing things and figuring out which go where in the team's bus.
Carole took a look around and was able to found some of the players.
Mats got up from the couch when he saw Carole and went to greet her. " Hey, Carole. Everything is good?"
"Yeah, everything is fine." She answered him the exact opposite feeling of how she was. " You guys ready for today?"
He nodded, " We're ready, don't worry. Although someone really needs to see you first otherwise he is going to be distracted all match."
Carole let out a smile, grinning. " Oh, I can bet about who are you talking about." She was a bit more relax now. She was going to finally see him after two weeks and even though she was nervous because about the pregnancy, she was also happy to see him and be with him.

Marco took the opportunity to see some of his texts on the phone as he rode down the elevator with Mario. The ride didn't take long though Marco was not paying attention to that and only realized it when Mario shook his arm. " Man, take those eyes of your phone. I think you're going to prefer the view in front of you."
