Chapter 10: Revealed

Sehun: Chen hyung refused to eat or leave his room. He slept for days, skipped practices and even didn't participate in performances, but I knew why... I checked social media everyday, people didn't stop talking about Chen's lip syncing and called him many nasty names. He lost a lot of weight and was as still as a rock. Everyone tried to convince him to eat and come back but he only shook his head. I also noticed that he hasn't talked for a month. Never heard him say a word since the performance. I also noticed that hyung only lets D.O hyung go in to care for him. They would also be together when we were gone to practice. I wonder what they talk about... Does D.O know something that we don't?

Xiumin: Finally... I saw Chen come out of his room. His face was pale and he shook as he walked. D.O looked like he wanted to help him, but he stood where he was. "Everyone... I have something to say..." "Jongdae, is there something wrong?" Suho asked. He was about to say something but he started coughing. He was coughing up blood as his body went limp. D.O quickly went over to him to hold him. All of us froze in horror. I could only stare at the blood on his hands. "Chen don't talk anymore... You're gonna die if you do!" D.O shook his head. He was wheezing badly and his face went more pale. "D.O! Tell us what is going on!" I yelled at him. "Call the ambulance first!" He yelled back. Kai rushed to the phone to punched numbers, "Emergency! We need an ambulance, NOW!" I looked in horror as he was rushed to the hospital. The look in his eyes... Full of pain and regret... It made me want to cry and scared.

Kris: I ran to the hospital as soon as I found out. Suho texted me and Luhan just when we were leaving the court house. I happened to be in Korea as well as Luhan because of a court battle with the company. "Tell me! How is Chen?!" I roared at them when I saw them. "Ask D.O what happened." Suho glared at him. Luhan eyed D.O and looked down. "I am a fool... Listening to a troll and not telling anyone..." He choked out. Baekhyun grabbed him and yelled, "WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?? DID YOU DO SOMETHING TO CHEN??" D.O shoved him to the ground, "I CHANGE MY MIND, I'M NOT A FOOL, IF I DID TELL YOU ALL THIS, YOU GUYS WILL ACT LIKE THIS ANYWAYS!" I intercepted them and yelled, "STOP THIS NONSENSE! JUST LET D.O TALK!" D.O was about to curse at Baekhyun when Luhan pulled him behind, "I lied too. Chen did tell me before he told D.O. I didn't tell you guys because I promised him not to." D.O shook his head, "Hyung, I forced you to choke up the secret... I found out when I followed Chen... He went to a hospital to do a surgery that day, not go to his parent's house." "Surgery... Why? Is he sick?" Chanyeol asked. Luhan and D.O closed their eyes and shook their heads. "Don't tell me... He's going to die soon..." Xiumin whispered softly. Meanwhile, Tao came rushing in and staring at us, "How is Chen?" Kai punched the wall hard and yelled in frustration.

Tao: "Chen has cancer... Lung cancer." Luhan managed to say. Everyone stared at him and widened their eyes. "He only had six months at most to live... For him to stay strong for so long was a miracle. He couldn't sing that day because he lost his voice... That's why he hasn't said a word for the whole month." D.O finished. I collapsed on the nearest chair stunned. That's why Chen was saying those things when he visited me... He knew that he couldn't survive any longer. The whole waiting room was in tears. Xiumin hyung ran off before we could say anything. "Xiumin!" Suho shouted and ran after him. I wanted to follow him but Kris held me back and pulled me to the room to visit Chen. I had no choice but to follow them in...
